What if our offense comes out flat, too?
The New Orleans Job Savers?! Good to know! Good. To. Know. Cousins and Jefferson with huge games then, right?!
Yeah, please don't!
I think we're safe. Saw this earlier!
Ha. We couldn't get that lucky!
Worried about Cousins a bit?
Tell me more.
Seeeeeeeems like a good place to end.
Overall, they feel better with Dalton. Are we over the QB2 curse? We shall find out soon enough...
Also, some folks want Teddy back. Same.

Kirk Cousins will destroy us!!! That guy is playing with a chip on his shoulder. We are more than capable of being competitive at least on Defense. But will it be enough to come away victorious? Let’s hope and see this Sunday on Fox! Who Dat Let’s Geaux!!!!
Doesn’t Cousins have a terrible record on national TV?
If we can’t put pressure on him he will pick apart our defense. Jefferson and Thielan are a great duo and if given time will get open. DA better find a way to create pressure cause if we let him sit in the pocket it’s over, especially if our offense comes out as flat as they’ve been playing.
Right now, it seems like the Saints are the fix for whatever ails a team/player.

I won some nice money last week taking the Panthers, but would have gladly lost the money with a Saints win.
I'm doing the same thing this game.

Maybe we should . . . . blitz him? Just a thought.
Yeah, please don't!
We really have no hope of winning this game. I might sleep in.
Cousins is 10-18 in prime time. Better question:
Does a 9:30 am EST game where half the US will be still asleep count as prime time?

Has nothing to do with “not being good enough”
Has to do with lack of discipline, lack of execution, inconsistent coaching, bad QB play. All things that are self inflicted. Like I said, we are the only team that has beat us in 2022. Not being good enough would be a talent issue, Saints don’t have a talent issue.

I didn’t say we weren’t talented enough. I said we aren’t good enough. We have multiple players in spite of their talent that are inconsistent, losing against my man opposite of them…we have poor offensive coaching…and we have an easily confused QB. Of course it’s self inflicted…but it’s not easily modifiable. Ultimately you have to play better than the opposing team…and that has happened for one quarter this entire season. We aren’t good…doesn’t mean we can’t get better. But we are a bad team right now
Our offense is only good for about 10pts.
I don't have NFL network so I don't have a choice. By not having it I am being saved from myself because I would be watching it.
Yeah but he had his shining moment against the Saints during the playoffs
Saints came in piping hot and left ice cold.
Sure Rudolph cheated to get that TD. but it should have never came to that. If you let a team have a good possibility to beat you. They will.

Saints will be tough to beat if JW can’t go.
I don't think he will. Dalton may pull a Cooper Rush on MN.
Dalton is better than Rush.
The offense just has to be average, and the Saints will have a great chance to win.
So far… (save for 1 quarter against the Turds prevent defense) the offense under Winston has been awful.

Thielen has given Lattimore the most trouble in his career thus far.
Love my Saints but we not beating no Vikings. Peat out on Oline, MT have started to be injury prone. Then our Oline weak as Sweetened Water. No way I expected a 1-2 start. May not win 2 more games. Just calling it how I see it.
If we trot an offense out on the field anything similar to what we've witnessed vs Atlanta, Tampa, or Carolina,it's another L in Big Ben.
This offense is just too vanilla & stale.
Our defense can only do so much to keep us in games.

“The New Orleans Saints offense has converted 13 of 39 third-down attempts through three games. That cranks out to a 33.3% conversion rate, and that percentage ranks 24th in the 32-team league.”

Gotta do better and give the defense a rest.

I was unable to get out to the bar to watch the Saints last weekend, but I saw a good chunk of the Vikings game. The silver lining is it gave me a chance to observe the Vikings a little closer before the London game. I'm also in Vikings country, so I am also in a spot to keep a closer eye on them than most others. Here is my pseudo scouting report for the Vikings:
- The availability of safety Harrison Smith should dictate how the Saints offense will attack. The Vikings are a different defense when he isn't playing.
- The Vikings o-line seems improved this year, both run and pass blocking. Saints need to bring it in the trenches defensively.
- You can take away superstar Justin Jefferson, but don't overdo it like the Lions did and leave KJ Obsorn and the tight ends wide open. They're capable enough.
- The Vikings pass rush has a bit more oooomph than last year with Danielle Hunter healthy and ZaDarius playing well.
- The Vikings have two solid cover linebackers in Kendricks and Hicks. Not as good as Tampa's but still pretty good.
- The kicking and punting for Minnesota has been pretty good and not the usual s**tshow it is for them some other years.
- Patrick Peterson has been looking solid. Probably want to pick on the other cover corners instead.
- The Vikings feel like a much better home team than road team this year. Traveling to London sucks, but we gotta like getting the advantage of drawing Minnesota overseas.
- I've always seen Cousins as a hot and cold QB. Hopefully cold Kirk shows up in London.
- I think the defense plays a little more straight-up now than they did with Zimmer and tried to give a lot of different looks.

Andy is more than capable + this offense can't look any worse with him under center.
They have very talented skill position players. This should be a fun challenge for our defense.
Have y’all noticed how the running back screens don’t really work for us anymore? It’s gotta be something about the scheme over the last several years that’s a dead giveaway to defenses.
I'd really like to see this D-line make a difference in this game.
77-69-2 as a starter. That gives me some optimism. I still take a lot of issue with our play designs. We don’t force or take advantage of mismatches like other teams. I watched Miami line Waddle up in the backfield against us last year. That forces teams to either cover him with a linebacker or switch a zone that he a wide receiver should be comfortable exploiting. Now they do it with Tyreek Hill. Teams get their best WR against a slot corner, safety, or linebacker and take advantage. We don’t do that anymore. Hopefully Dalton can, but this offense has been looking sluggish for years now. We need a new coordinator.
If Dalton looks good AND we win Winston’s days are numbered as a starter.
I want to see them clean house next year. New head coach and coordinator if this continues
Let's not forget Dalton still needs some protection up front. If it were Winston who wasn't recognizing, we'll find out. If it is the OL, we'll find out.
I'm actually kind of excited to see if Andy can read defenses and throw the ball still.
Andy is a smart vet ... hopefully he just audibles out of all of Pete's shite plays ... maybe he can actually read a defense and adjust his reads accordingly ... maybe he remembers that Kamara is a human cheat code and just dumps it off to him 10-15 times.
That has nothing to do with Carmichael. Dalton is Dalton. We have 12 years of product.
Everyone clamoring for him to start will see now.
Everyone clamoring for him to start will see now.
I don't think anyone expects him to come in and be an all pro. With our defense, he simply has to do what Cooper Rush has been doing. Don't turn it over, get the ball out quick, and make the safe plays the defense is giving you.
"Lol everybody sh*tting on Winston and clamoring for Dalton claimed he could be the difference in these games we are losing. So yeah a lot of people are acting like he’s an all pro QB."
I don't think that's true. With this version of Winston--perhaps because of injury--we have gotten downright bad QB play and offense overall, especially in the first 3 quarters of each game. Dalton needs only to play at an average level to be a significant improvement.

hopefully he can manage to string some drives together and help the defense not be on the field the majority of the game. Oh and be more accurate to keep our wide receivers from hurting themselves.
Can he really do worse than Jameis was doing? We are about to find out. I'm all in with the red rifle.
I'm no Winston homer, but Dalton ain't it either. Maybe he gives the Saints the best chance to win because of Winston's injury, but it will be a longer season if Dalton is the guy for the rest of the season.
Andy Dalton could have easily won us the Carolina game. Winston's YOLO deep throws when the first down was there to be had is literally the reason we couldn't sustain a drive. He had Kamara wide arse open for the first and threw a corner route in the endzone ten yards past Landry.
Andy takes those safe throws 100% of the time, sustaining drives (something Winston has completely failed to do)

Dalton is what we need now. We have great WRs and a great defense. Winston seems to be out to prove he can be prime Drew Brees. Dalton is aware of his limitations. Last year if we had these WRs with Trevor Siemian we would have been in the playoffs. Dalton is better the Siemian and has been a pro-bowler before.
Hopefully Jameis will sit out for a month to heal his back and then come back and be better.

This. Winston is out there playing hero ball when a game manager is all that is needed to win the game.
Red Rocket is a dog's dick.
