Maybe there isn't one...
But I assume Gardner will be long gone. Many mocks I've heard in the past week also have Stingley and Hamilton off the board as well. And lets assume for grins sake that nobody in the eleven picks ahead of the Vikings takes a QB. I assume that means a lot of the top edge rushers will be going off the board as well (not that I think the Vikings necessarily need one at #12). Not sure who else might be there at #12 that wouldn't be a reach and would be of more immediate help to the Vikings.
I'm hearing a lot of people talking WR at #12, even though we don't really need one in 2022. But even the "top" WRs could go before #12. Truth be told, I'm starting to warm up to this idea just for the possibility that this makes 1 less WR that the Packers will have to choose from later in the 1st round.
Being somewhat realistic, what is the worst position we could find ourselves in at #12? What players are off the board, leaving which players at either positions where there is little/no need, or players not worthy of the #12 spot? For instance, look at this Great Blue North mock:

If you take the QBs out of this top 11, and Stingley and Hamilton are the other two guys that came off the board in the top 11, who should the Vikings take at #12 (assuming they cannot trade out of the pick)? Should it be McDuffie, or someone else and hope to take one of Booth/Elam/Gordon/McCreary/etc. at CB in the 2nd?
