It's that time of the year - the draft is only a month away! Here's my first mock: (No trades)
JAX ED Aidan Hutchinson - Feels like the best prospect in this class after having a great combine
DET ED Travon Walker - Despite his lack of production, teams are salivating over his athletic profile
HOU T Evan Neal - With Tunsil potentially getting moved on a draft-day trade, Neal makes a ton of sense here, or could man RT out of the gate
NYJ S Kyle Hamilton - The Jets can never resist a hard-hitting safety in the 1st round
NYG T Ikem Ekwonu - The Giants' OL was a disaster last year and needs a RT to hold the unit down
CAR T Charles Cross - They've gone years without a good LT, and are in a great spot to take one, even over a QB
NYG CB Ahmad Gardner - Elite tape, elite athletic build, and the Giants may move Bradbury
ATL ED Kayvon Thibodeaux - Atlanta has gone years without a good pass rush, and Thibodeaux has top 5 potential
SEA QB Malik Willis - Feels like they have to go QB here if they don't acquire a veteran.
NYJ WR Garrett Wilson - Would make a really good WR group with Elijah Moore and Corey Davis
WAS WR Drake London - Would pair well with McLaurin and Samuel contrasting as a big-bodied receiver
MIN CB Derek Stingley Jr - With LSU's DBs coach on the staff, they could pull the trigger if his medicals are clean
HOU WR Jameson Williams - Houston doesn't need Williams to play early on, but desperately need receivers for Mills
BAL C Tyler Linderbaum - OL play has declined in recent years in Baltimore, though I would guess they trade down and then try to nab Linderbaum
PHI WR Treylon Burks - The Eagles take a 1st round WR a third year in a row, and find a running mate with DeVonta Smith
PHI DT Jordan Davis - Philly can afford to spend one of their three 1sts on a freakish athlete like Davis
SD T Trevor Penning - With RT still in question, the Chargers can fill that spot with yet another athletic specimen in Penning
NO T Tyler Smith - LT Armstead has signed with the Dolphins, leaving that spot wide open
PHI ED Jermaine Johnson II - The departure of some DEs and Brandon Graham's decline could cause Philly to spend a 1st on an edge rusher
PIT DT Travis Jones - Another combine darling, this should be Jones' ceiling. Pittsburgh's run defense was terrible and they need a nose tackle
NE ED George Karlaftis - The Patriots are always hard to pin down, but any pass rusher should be on the table here
GB WR Chris Olave - The Packers have to take a WR this time in the 1st... right?
ARZ DT Devonte Wyatt - Arizona needs more push from the DL if they want to repeat what they did on defense in 2021
DAL G Zion Johnson - Dallas' OL isn't what it used to be and could use a replacement for Connor Williams
BUF CB Kaiir Elam - The Bills go with a toolsy CB to pair with Tre'Davious White
TEN LB Devin Lloyd - The Titans love spending 1st rounders on LBs, and this feels like Lloyd's range to go
TB S Lewis Cine - Losing Jordan Whitehead and having several CB injuries last year should spur Tampa to spend more capital on DBs
GB T Nicholas Petit-Frere - With Billy Turner cut and Bahktiari's health an annual issue, tackle makes a ton of sense after WR
KC WR Christian Watson - Tyreek Hill is gone, which should get KC to spend one of these 1sts on a receiver
KC CB Trent McDuffie - The CB corps got exposed several times in the playoffs. McDuffie had a middling combine but should still go in the 1st round
CIN ED David Ojabo - I think the Bengals can afford to wait on Ojabo with his Achilles injury, and will cash in later with a guy who has top 10 potential
DET QB Kenny Pickett - This feels like a logical spot for the Lions to go QB, but it's a crapshoot on which one
Any thoughts?
