Even When The Vikes Win, They Lose?

I was never on the Stefanski bandwagon because our offense was as inconsistent under him as Cleveland's has been, but ... you're overlooking the most important part of the equation here, which is Spielman and Zimmer would have been gone 2 years sooner, and Cousins most likely doesn't get that 2nd extension and he's gone already too.

We'd be going on year 3 of the Stefanski era and who knows what that would be like, but the way this KOC/KAM regime is going, I'm thinking it couldn't be any worse. These clowns inherited a really bad hand from the previous regime, but they've decided the best course of action is to double down on it, like they're trying to put out a fire with gasoline. Maybe that's unfair to KOC who we've yet to see coach, but he can't be too bright if he thinks he can win with Cousins. No amount of scheming is going to fix the mental problems holding him back. Even if we squeeze out those extra 2-3 wins a year, it's not going to turn Kirk into the stud we need in the playoffs.

I'm really really beginning to wonder why Spielman was fired because based on what we've seen so far, the Vikings are doing their best to keep his roster intact, which means they blame Zimmer for everything. Maybe the Wilves are transitioning into more of a Jerry Jones now and needed someone who was easier to control, like Kwezi, the puppet GM.

Rumor has it Poles picked the Bears because he wanted to burn it all down and the Bears were fine with that, which suggests he knew the Wilves wanted to run it back all along and thus didn't need to comeback for the 2nd interview. Which makes Kwezi not very bright (or just desperate for a job since we were his only offer) if he thought he could succeed with the roster as is and merely serve as a yes man.

This useless franchise is so terrified of becoming Detroit that they took another trip to the port of Kirk Cousins to ground the sinking ship in Mediocrity Bay until they can find more duct tape.
