Talkin points
Congratulations on making the dumbest decision in Vikings history since the H Walker trade.
You guys make the guys in the Dumb and Dumber movie look like Einstein
You chose some one who has bounced around several teams prior with little success
He has no experience as a head coach or a coordinator responsible for calling his own plays.
He has no track record and is a huge gamble and there is no way of telling whether he could be a good head coach or not.
This dumb decision could set the team back years.
Harbaugh on the other hand is more qualified as a head coach than all of the other 8 coaches you interviewed combined
He as a head coach turned around SD state, Stanford, Michigan, and the 49niners leading them to 3 championship games & 1 Super Bowl. He was one pass away from winning and should have won that game if the correct pass interference call in the end zone was called. He turned all those college programs that were struggling around quickly. He also took a struggling 49niners team around quickly, He turned them into 4 years of one of the winningest teams during that time frame. He was largely responsible for all of those college and NFL turnarounds. So no I am not going to blindly switch my position and say now that O'Connel was the best choice for the job. I am not now going to follow along and agree with the talking heads with their online podcasts, who are now switching their previous opinions and saying O' Connel was the best choice after the the fact. If you want to get a well informed confirming true analysis of this decision watch the undisputed segement today with Skip discussing this decision with Shannon today. Harbaugh on the other hand would have giving you a high chance of success, multiple championships and a possible Super Bowl in the first few years based on his proven prior track record of success as a head coach
Feel free to opine but remember to keep it pithy!
