Reflections: The 2019 Wild Card Game

Since this weekend is wildcard weekend. And since the last regime is gone now hopefully we can appreciate this win a little more.
Forget what happened the next week and everything after it but that was a good day.
I remember all week Matthew Collar & Courtney Cronin just railing on us. How we had no chance, we're going to get blown out, and so on.
To be honest I sat there all week and I had 100% confidence we were going to win that game. I never said a word to anybody about it other than my wife... who doesn't even care at all. I just didn't want to jinx it.
It would have been too easy to lose that game. Classic Vikings is to win that game so then you believe and then let them rip your heart out the following week. There's patterns with this team and the names change but the problems remain the same. They just have pattern failures.
But this is to be positive about that one day It was a good day. That was the last time the Vikings had a smile on my face that I couldn't control to the point where my cheeks were sore. I knew that we were going to win that game and to watch it unfold was unreal.
