So the NFL has sectioned off the world between 19 NFL teams to zero in their marketing, and probably televise games. For instance the Rams get China and Australia. The Bears share Spain and the UK. The 49ers share Mexico, and for some reason Germany is saddled with the Carolina Panthers. The Packers get nothing.
Our Vikings have been given Canada to split with the Seachickens, and share the UK. This leaves a lot of questions, and it must be stated that teams put forth proposals for their desired areas so they did have some input.
First off, How do you not give the Vikings Scandinavia. THEYRE THE VIKINGS?!?!?! If ever there was a team ready made for a foreign market, it's the flipping Vikings. Second, how are the Bills not tied directly to Toronto, a bunch of their season ticket holders live there. Third, as much as I hate them, how do you leave the packers out of this picture. Dallas also only gets to share Mexico...WTF
This whole thing seems like a good idea, with awful execution. I looked for a map, but this is recent news so I couldn't find one. Here's the list:
Australia: Los Angeles Rams
Brazil: Miami Dolphins
Canada: Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks
China: Los Angeles Rams
Germany: Carolina Panthers, Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mexico: Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers
Spain: Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins
United Kingdom: Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers
