I find this post to be irrelevant in terms of relevance to beating the 49ers.

In 49ers' games this year:
The QB with fewer interceptions is 8-0 (2 games where QBs tied)
The QB with the higher passer rating is 10-0

But if you want to bring up yards:
The QB with higher yards per attempt is 7-3
The QB with more passing yards is 3-7

Efficient passing while avoiding turnovers is a far better way to beat the 49ers than big plays.

I only found it relevant to the stats posted above by Kirk's agent, Raptorman . So most of your reply was not relevant to mine. However

Well now you've gone and done it. Kirk has been protecting the ball well this year, so I'll give him that. However he has never really been terribly high on INT's, often preferring to cough the ball up and lose in other ways. But I'm concerned now that you've jinxed him and bad Kirk may come back. He's been very streaky in these things over his career and he's been on a good streak.

Yes most times I'm quite sensible. First and foremost the way the Vikings can beat the 49ers is to win their share of battles in the trenches. Slowing down their run game and forcing Jimmy Garoppolo to throw it will help. Offensively for us it's all about execution. We have quite of few very, good players that can help put plenty of points on the board but without execution it will be all for not. Oh, and our special teams need to be solid.

To be blunt I'd rather spend my time doing other things than argue stats etc... Charts, stats and graphs are very subjective and I lose interest real fast when threads are full of them. It's rare that a good discussion comes from them. Most times it just turns into a pissing contest as fans try to one up each other with them.

Many of the QB's who won a Super Bowl have never played 100 games. Much less a 100 games before they went. It's a moot point. But then we all know that the QB is solely responsible for the winning and losing of a team. But yeah, let's blame one player on not winning a Super Bowl. After all, after gong 3 times and not winning, Tarkenton sucked. As did Marino.

I could ask how many QB have winning records after 100 games and never won a Super Bowl? My bet, it's a larger number than your question.

Its not a moot point because I don't think there are many .500 qbs after 100 games who go on to win SBs. But I'll bet there is one, maybe even two. If so they are called exceptions. After 100 games you pretty much know who a qb is. But certainly worse qbs than Kirk has won a SB, so you can't rule it out.
