I don't think I said its a guarantee it will set back every franchise...
Which is why I wrote:
I was arguing your point that trading up for a QB was likely to set this franchise back significantly.
Notice the underline part in text you quoted while claiming I was saying that you said it "guarantees it will set back every franchise). Which makes the following very ironic:
You should Google that silly term you keep using "strawman argument" because that's exactly what you did... I surely didn't call for you. I just give my opinion. At least know the meanings of the silly words you use and make sure your not projecting...
You defended your strawman argument by claiming I made a strawman argument, and then used a strawman argument to attempt to prove that strawman argument. This has become the Inception of logical fallacies and I don't think I have ever seen anything like it.
I am not perfect, and I do tend to go overboard when I know I am right (and I am on this), but the one thing I try never to do is argue points people are not making. If I do get called out on that, and someone explains that the point I am arguing is not the one they were actually trying to make, I apologize and move on or argue the point they were actually trying to make. I do this because I am generally not a dishonest person (and a strawman argument is essentially lying about what someone said) and because arguing fake arguments means I am not good enough to discuss the real ones. It is pathetic and beneath me. It should be beneath you too.
