Talking Points
Things I learned after watching game 2
QB Browner is not good enough for QB 2, he freezes and shrinks in real time game action. Mond is not ready either for QB 2.
Slotter was better than both of these 2 combined last year. We need to sign a productive capable QB who can fill in if need be for a few games and win not lose a game for us.
OT Hill is not good enough to start at LT against above average competition, he will get burnt often and get the QB hurt or sacked often. He is the clone at Lt what Dozier is to RG. Hill should be a backup only. He has no business starting going against top DE edge rushers. They need to sign an upgrade or switch there line.
Cleavland LT Davis LG Bradburry Uldi RG O Neil RT or Uldi Cleavland Bradburry Davis O' Neil. any combination that does not have Hill starting
Smith should be our KR and PR
OC could be a problem with his play calling ability. He may not be ready for prime time against top DC coordinators.
Our 2 DT's are studs.
CB Breeland may be our best cover corner.
G Uldi better than I expected, and I was calling for him to start last year. Exceeding my optimistic expectations.
G Cleavland was solid also. Looks like he got bigger and stronger than last year.
WR Bebee still knows how to get open most of the time
LB Dye is better than I expected
P Colquitt is not as bad as I thought he was last week. good rebound game
Studs
G Uldi
G Cleavland
WR Bebee
DT Pierce
DT Tomilson
LB Dye
LB Vigil
CB Brealand
SP Smith
P Colquitt
Duds
OC play calling
QB Cousins
QB Browner
QB Mond
OT Hill
TE Dillion
TE Davidson
CB Danzler
Feel free to opine but remember to keep it pithy!
