The great part about this board is we get to discuss, joke, tease, insult and learn from each other. It is a privilege that is disappearing on other parts of social media. Some know a lot, others know less. Some are wildly optimistic, and others are incredibly pessimistic.
As frustrating as the Vikings are for not winning a Super Bowl and for not getting back to the big game in over forty years, the Vikings don't suck. Detroit sucks. 7-9 is a bad season for the Vikings where multiple things had to go wrong to only win 7 games. Could it happen again? It's possible and unlikely.
Hill, Brandel, and Oli are probably not the answer at LT. Fortunately, Darrisaw has talent. It is way too early to compare Darrisaw to Kahlil because he has not even played a snap. The O-line will miss Reiff until Darrisaw gets healthy and adjusts to the NFL game.
On the interior, there is far more talent and depth than the past three seasons. So there is hope. Will they perform and hold up on 3rd down? We'll see.
Because the Defense will be better and because the Offense has great talent, I expect the Vikings to win 10+ games despite all of the potential problems and imperfections on the team. 10-7 or better does not suck.
