Talking points
It looks like Big Rickey read and followed my previous No Spin draft post perfectly as outlined
Great job. A++
Before all you purple cool aid drinkers start prematurely celebrating that we have now fixed our starting O-line now because they have made the right 1st rd pick, you are wrong and terribly mistaken. We still have Dakota Dozier penciled in as the starting LG. That is a bigger problem than no Reiff at LT. Big Ricky needs to finish the job today with the next pick being best G avialable. That will finally fix and upgrade our starting O-line, we will then be able to compete against playoff caliber teams. I would only trade up in the 2nd Rd for that position. Those 3rd and 4th rounders are very valuable in this years draft. I would keep as many as I could for other positions of need.
2nd round guards I would trade up for and take
Wyatt Davis
Trey Smith
One of these two is worth trading up in the mid to late 2nd if necessary, that should be the next pick.
Potential players to consider in round 3
S Richie Grant Hassah Nasirildeen
QB Trask or Mond in that order
CB Eric Stokes Ifeatu Melfonwu
DE Ronnie Perkins
WR Anthony Schwartz slot, KR, PR Dewayne Eskridge slot, KR, PR
T/G Dillion Radunz G Kendrick Green G Devontee Brown upgrade depth
C/G Landon Dickerson compete for starting C job upgrade depth
Potential players to consider in round 4
NT Bobby Brown run stuffing machine
CB Keith Taylor Amber Thomas Deommodore Lenoir
G Ben Clevland
DE Dayo Odeyingbo
S Richard Le Counte Talona Hufanga
If they could get an upgrade G with Davis or Smith in mid to late RD 2 or RD 3. And 4 or 5 others from this list that would be a great draft.
Feel free to opine but remember to keep it Pithy!
