I agree that oLine SHOULD be the priority in this draft, especially at 14. However, I just don't think it will happen with the first pick.

I already know they won't take a Olineman. That's why I already making a thread saying I will be mad. I said in the first post they dumb enough not to take a OL first. They hate the OL then mad when the patch work don't work year after year.

Reiff was an expensive free agent, Bradbury was a 1st and oneil/Cleveland were 2nds. They're investing. It's just a trash scheme with trash coaches. Hard to justify taking more super high picks at oline when they'll just squander it. A 2nd round guard should suffice and would probably put us in the upper tier for draft capital put at oline.

I'm not going to say I'd be surprised if we take a pass rusher, but I think the most likely scenario is taking oline in round 1. Lowkey though, I have this syncing suspicion this year that Rick might surprise everyone and take Trevon Moehrig, whether we move back or not. Not that I dislike Moehrig, I think he's a good prospect. But it's too high for him at 14 and based on our off season so far, I'm not sure that's going to matter. It's possible they put a bigger emphasis on filling the safety hole and the drop off after the first couple rounds could be steep if there's a run on them in the 2nd. Where as the oline prospects are a little deeper in this class. I'd personally prefer we take OL in round one though, and still think that's the most likely scenario based on the value of the players likely to be available for us at 14

Well last year we needed all we could get but got less then what we needed. Now we're hoping for a big leap this year with what we got-get.

I think they both work together to be honest, I think Zimmer gets his way more than Rick just look at all thats invested into the defense over the years. If we dont go OL first pick then im convinced they want Kirk to force a trade out.

Well last year we needed all we could get but got less then what we needed. Now we're hoping for a big leap this year with what we got-get.

What about the other years? We take a CB every year and sometimes in FA. I would have thought with all the premium picks we used beforehand we wouldn't have needed 3 CBs last draft. But I will let you tell it🤷🏾‍♂️

oh no argument there. Zim had plenty of luxury CB picks in his time here. Just pointing out last year wasn't toy shopping but getting the basic requirements to field a team. Why we needed to get there is for him to Zim to answer. I didn't get it myself.

I'll disagree and I think many others will as well. The Vikings had the #28 defense and #4 offense in 2020. The D needs more help right now. Edge rusher and Safety are still big needs with 1 month to go til the draft. Best case scenario is a trade down from #14 where they can get a edge and G in the first 2 rounds.
