I don't know if it's because we get lazy with multiple 1st or what, but it seems our % are just as high our higher with one first. For us multiple 1st does not always mean better. I will go back to 2005 so I can add another multiple 1st outcome in our history, in general one won't turn out for us. Stakes are even higher and my expectations are higher with 1st naturally. This is why trading a Hunter is not what I want. Because we have a 50 50 chance regardless. I am yet to see us draft two guys in round one and both become studs. In the second rd our % are higher so. I rather have a 1st and a 2nd then two 1st and no 2nd. Because we always take at least one dud with multiple 1st. Verdict still out on Gladney, but we will see. I am higher on Irv and Ezra over Gladney for some reason. I have seen us hit on both a 1st and 2nd in the same draft but not 2 1st in the same draft since I been a fan in the 90s.

Every time we pick twice in round 1 at least one is a dud. So why keep doing it. Focus on one guy in round one, because obviously we can't handle properly evaluating two guys at the same time at the top. History repeating itself just saying. You would think it would be better getting 2 high picks, but we just end up wasting money on one of them. Same results and same hit rate as if we have on e pick. So no thanks trading a proven Viking for a extra first because we will only pick one keeper and the trajectory stays the same. Jefferson replaced Diggs great pick and the other pick nothing he done with us Gladney. Crazy because someone else will get to get him for the second chance. We will be the ones punished for drafting him. Someone else will get a chance to take a no risk chance. I never understood how that happens ala Kareem Hunt and others.

Also greenway was the 2006 draft, Erasmus James and the notorious Troy williamson was the 05 draft I know I worked at the hotel at the time when they were drafted they stayed at. I was a college kid and stoked their first round picks were there. I remember Erasmus was sitting in the lobby bar having drinks with some of the guests that night.

On my screen it is separated. I don't know why it is like that on my laptop. On my house computer it is separated. I worked to get them a part on my screen right now they are, but when I look at it on my laptop it is scrambled. Sorry I don't know why and not savvy enough on computers to fix it. I know why it is like that.

Hope that helps bud! Twice as many picks bust rates and hits close to the same, and I never seen us hit on both and I been a fan since 1996. It cost more on the cap for 2 first and sure as the sun shines one becomes a dud. So I rather pick once in round one. Trade down and try multiple 2nd and 3rds. something. I am superstitious the multiple 1st sh*t is not working and we have a lot of evidence. We to stupid to hit on both. IMO sad but true when something don't work try something new. Like CBs start picking them mid rounds like Cam because every 1st rounder Zim draft is a bum. We still can't cover Adams to this day.

So you saying stay put don't trade up or down? Question what if Sewell and Slater gone then what should we do? You don't think we should trade up for one of them?

Honestly think Sewell will be the pick at 5 by cincy. I think the Broncos are going to trade up with the falcons to get fields. I think the falcons might trade back again if pitts isn’t there at 9 and I don’t think he will be. So giving up a 3rd round pick if slater is still there at 9 or 10 (maybe a 4th is enough to go to 10) to get slater would be very smart for this team. Now will Rick do that I think he actually might.

I did this because people was talking trade Hunter for a 1st. I was like heck naw he is a proven stud and if we get a extra 1st we won't hit on both picks anyhow. You need to keep studs like him. A extra 1st wow so we can get a turd lol with at least one of the picks, some times we blow all the first . The draft to big of a gamble to get rid of studs for one. We got lucky with JJ that don't happen much and if the Eagles were not fools wouldn't of. I am glad it did though. But it was a lateral move and of course Gladney is gone stick a fork in him. You already know how strict our Texas laws are. The laws don't play in our state you already know.

I agree with you on the whole post like usual. I been saying Sewell going high our best shot is Slater but we will have to jump the Chargers for him. We can't afford to go up to the top for Sewell cost to much. Slater for like a 4th would be a nice fall back prize. Knowing them we take a CB if not a rusher.

Trading hunter would be ridiculously stupid. I think once the draft is over and we sign another low contract fa or 2, I think they figure out hunters contract thing and extend him long term that makes sense for both sides.

What did I tell y'all I wasn't that high on Gladney no how. My gut and eyes rarely lie. Figured he wasn't gonna turn out. Still hurts but even if he played his upside was limited already almost 25 old for a 2nd year guy. He was to little to be a star. Cam is that Dude. I knew something was up with Gladney. Can't say I knew he would do this, but I figured he would never see a 2nd contract with us. Now trust me on Rosseau we have to stay away from him.
