Some good points there. As much as I would've liked to have a Thuney, Blythe or Brown on our 2021 OL the defense was the main priority this offseason and for good reason. I can see a lot of fans don't like it but that's how it went down.

We could have balanced both sides. Why is it we can't multitask? We only do one thing at a time it seems. We still sitting on money surely we could have signed a guy better then Dozier and traded for Cole who making more money then a guy like Blythe. Bylyhe is one example and he is better. You can do more than one thing at once you know. Well I can maybe our team lacks in that department. I like the defensive moves, but at the same time hate ignoring the offense particularly the OL.

The issue is that they have invested a lot of money in their QB and have refused or been unable to provide adequate protection for him. I have no clue why people truly believe the Vikings will make a good offensive line selection. The last one they made was O'Neill. Cleveland may turn out OK and he may not. Right now he is kind of meh and not very good at pass protecting whatsoever. Bradbury is well on his way to complete BUST. Elflein was horrible.

Why would any reasonably intelligent fan have faith in this regime drafting offensive linemen?

That is why trading for an established player like Brown was better for them.

Now it is a total roll of the dice. I have no faith in these buffoons.

Everything about our OL right now is meh. The so-called buffoons have a secret plan that they'll unleash before the season starts so we just have to wait and see. It wouldn't surprise me if Rashod Hill starts at LT.

We already know, no telling with them we will have a better idea after the draft. I just wish they were forward thinkers more. They wait for a problem then attack that problem or lack there of on the OL. Our offense showed some promise, but if you don't continue to get better you getting worse. Last year is last year the goal should be always attacking both sides. I agree with the defense moves just not at the expense of the offense. It's like leaking oil instead of addressing all problems we do one when you do that patch work you notice something else going wrong. Take the whole car to the shop and fix things simultaneously. We be moving like snails LOL!

I agree and we need 2 OL plus a DE. All this in a draft with opt outs and shorten seasons. I would have thought we would have added one quality FA vet on the OL. We playing with straight fire hoping to get lucky. I don't think it is unreasonable at all for us to be frustrated with this OL. It has been going on for a decade. They have to start learning from their mistakes we been patient for years. Its hard to believe it will be different when it never has before.

It isn't unreasonable to feel frustrated with our OL. This unit has been underperforming for a while.

That is the only reason I been so vocal about it. I truly believe if we fix that we in business this year for a run and a solid season. Most everything else is lined up for a bounce back season IMO! We need Bron back for like the last 7 or 8 games so we can get a flow going before playoffs.

It's pretty unique we like both the Lakers and Vikings. spence does too, we have nice taste in sport teams a lot in common.

Good points, 14 is worth a lot more than 31. We could have flipped 14 for 27 gave up a 3rd or 4th and maybe a next year 3rd and beat that bid. There is no question plus if it was close surely they rather trade him a way from the team they are trying to chase down. I don't see many excuses why our OL looks like this going into Thursday.

Brown didn't get to choose where to go he was traded? Ravens was trading him to the highest bidder. Thuney got paid too much. History shows I don't trust overpaying Patriots FA OL. I will say this though. Orlando Brown might not fit with Chiefs, he is coming from a run team to a pass all day team. At his size he might get tired late in games with all that running on passes. With us though we like to run the ball so I saw it as a safer pick up.

I think you're channeling some media misreporting here brother. The Chiefs didn't give up four picks for Brown. They gave up four picks for Brown plus two picks back. Somebody calculated the draft value chart stuff and concluded that the Chiefs basically gave up the equivalent of a mid-second round pick. That's not unreasonable for a legit SB contender desperate for a one year OL rental. It would be stupid for many other teams.
