I did like what Klint stated about "evolving" because I personally feel that's something we haven't done much of during Zimmer's tenure...I just hope Klint is "allowed" to evolve the offense to suit the talents of our players on offense and not shoe-horn them into a ground-n-pound / ball-control philosophy that everyone can see comin' from a mile away...square pegs don't tend to fit very well in round holes...
I think ppl are caught up in the Zimmer "run the ball" narrative. Yes he is very stubborn, but at the end of the day he wants to win. He made that known when we had an elite defense and the offense wasn't so good (especially Oline) he just didnt want them to do anything stupid to cost us the game (Deflippo and Norv deserved the firings) , which in a way he was right we didnt need much from the O during 2015-2018 well say.
Elite defenses don't end the season with 27-10 and 38-7 playoff losses, but I understand your point.
