The belief that the Wilfs are spending a lot of money is nonsense.

In 2015, they received 222.6M in revenue sharing and the cap was 143.28M
In 2016, they received 244M and the cap was 155.27M
In 2017, they received 255.9M and the cap was 167M
In 2018, they received 274.3M and the cap was 177.2M
In 2019, they received 296M and the cap was 188.2M
Not sure how much they will get for last year but it will be considerably less obviously.
It is clear that the revenue sharing money has paid much of the salary and the extra has to go towards medical and retirement which is never included in the player's salary.
Still, these numbers did not include gate receipts, stadium naming rights, game day profits, marketing/branding profits, etc.
The Wilf's are NOT coming out their own pockets to pay any player the team wants to sign.

In 2020, Forbes is saying they had 84 mil in operating income which is before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization.
I am going to guess that they probably pull in 5 to 10 mil per year.
We also do not know if they are being paid a salary which is included in the Forbes numbers.
They paid 600 million and now the team is worth almost 3 billion.
I stand by my belief that they (and all owners) have to come out their own pocket rarely.
