It would be nice if you make this less about me and more of the Vikings and football. Thanks.
Come on Power get out your feelings LOL! This not about you this about the Vikings decision makers and their ineptitude, stop getting emotional. . The confidence in you was like a general statement, had nothing to do with you on a personal level. It was never personal relax. My whole point in talking to you was to state how sorry our OL was and still is headed for the same issues and I did that eloquently. If you take that personal that is on you, but I refuse to get tricked by them making the same mistakes this a rerun to me. Until that day comes hopefully soon that the OL is fixed I will be pessimistic about the OL, that is just the way it is. If that hurts your feelings sorry you feel that way. That was not my intent. But I have to be honest.
I know in my heart our chances this year hinges on what the OL does. That is how I see this team, so until that is fixed I can't get to confident in our chances so far terrible F grade on the oline. With me knowing other teams going to get OL too and us picking 14 I am not sure we going to get who and what we need. Any OL won't do he better be a gamechanger or we doomed and we have several holes more than 1 IMO starters on the OL plus depth too. By waiting exclusively for the draft without adding some things beforehand shows our hand and forces us to reach even if guys we truly want get taken. Plus it is far from guaranteed we taken a OL first round anyways. Let's say best case scenario we get Sewell by trading up.. Does that solve the interior? I think not and can a mid rd IOL change that? Only if you get lucky, that is playing with fire especially as a rook. Doubling down and adding another vet or 2 as options was how we should of handled it. By doing that it cast a wider net allowing guys to compete and giving us options. Then we would have less holes and be in better position to trade up for a blue chipper like Sewell or Slater because we have less holes and can go for a big swing with less holes to fill. How you don't get that is beyond me. Free Agency is where you fill holes at least adequately so you can be more aggressive come the draft, and not just reaching for needs just to have a functional unit. Adequate options was going for reasonable prices yet nothing. Options are slim there are a few guys left, but very very few and time is ticking.
