Trading down in the first is an excellent idea for us, but you need to find a trade partner with assets. Most teams don’t want to give up their second to move up 10 spots (which is why you don’t actually see a ton of those trades happen). Miami and Jax are the teams to be talking to because they have multiple picks on each round.

I admit I am not a guru on compensatory picks, cap, or trade picks value. All I know is our first two picks better be OL and DL and we must end up in the 2nd for the one we don't get round 1. We going to have to make it do what it do at CB we have drafted way to many high. Might have to get a cost friendly Dre Kirkpatrick type and develop the young ones we got. We do need a safety if we lose Harris. It less important then the lines. We can get one like in the third. We lack resources can't get everything early plus we strapped for cash. We have to stop getting bullied upfront both sides to have a chance with the big boys. I am a guru on finding draft talent though the draft is my baby and my passion

Mikeness would be the pass game guru on here...... he called Mahomes way, way back....... so if anything, we should listen to him more with the way the NFL game has evolved to a pass friendly league......

That is right, Mikeness told me to look at Mahomes back on MVN when he was coming out. He was high on him and told me to watch him I did and was like I like him. I remember that now. Mikeness always been a quiet assassin who knows his stuff and a strong poster. Props Mikeness you did call Mahomes first facts.

What's not to like? We hit on Bisi with a 7th... why wouldn't we want more Bisi's? Lol

You got it though... we need a true game breaker or two. Jefferson was a good start. But we need to identify another couple of those, and be aggressive in moving up to ensure we get those game breaking talents who fit our schemes....

Yes unfortunately, it is unlikely. But that doesn't mean it's what should happen.....

The writing on the wall is pretty strong at this point for multiple reasons. There's a reason he stays away from the draft and trys to buy FA QBs because he has no idea what to look for. I'm not just talking the last 15 years with us. He has pretty much avoided it for years and there's the Kirk contract that would admit failure and Rick doesn't admit failure. How do you explain to your boss that you're paying a benchwarmer more than most starters make plus had to spend a 1st rounder and hope it works out. Not to mention new OC new system and maybe a new OL scheme. Not everyone wants to run ZBS. So now once again everything is out of whack.
