Wait now, one of the few Kirk defenders now says winning and losing is a QB stat? I take it you are off the Kirk bandwagon then? If QB wins are so important, you can't possibly defend Cousins anymore, right?
He is doing something right by this rating system you created, that no one else uses and arrogantly has given you insight into how great a QB is... especially compared to "lazy Monday sports analysts". By your logic, they must be doing something right because they get paid to analyze football, and you do not.
What could be could be more concrete than their ACTUAL contribution to the scoreboards?
Actual contribution is more nuanced than how many TDs a QB throws. A QB driving a team 98 yards only for a FB to punch it in from the 1 yard line doesn't mean that QB didn't contribute to the team scoring a TD. Conversely, a QB throwing a 3 yard TD pass after the RB drove the team inside the 5 should be considered as impactful on the scoring drive as that FB who punched it in from the 1. Typically a large number of passing TDs does correlate to more scoring, but not always. In this case, Cousins yardage contribution to each drive that results in points is less than 16 other QBs.
Created bullsh*t stats that serve to make us forget that 441 attempts into this season Teddy Bridgewater has thrown only 14 TD passes for a team that is 3-10 in games in which he has played.
It is bullsh*t? Why? Because you don't like what it says is all you have given so far. I am all for hearing the reason why this stat is more bullsh*t than passer ratings, PFF grades or the like, but so far all you have given is that you don't like where Teddy is on the list. How about Mahomes then? Or Wilson, or Rodgers, or Allen? If we go by passing TDs thrown, is Tom Brady really only 4 TDs worse than Mahomes? Is Big Ben having the same impact on his offense as Josh Allen? Or is there more to a QB's contribution to scoring than just how many total passing TDs he throws?
