A lot of fans are pretty similar to Vikings fans, but I think Bears fans and Vikings fans are the same people! Oh, and we have that same hatred for the Packers! Anyway, thoughts on their thoughts?!

Foles single-handedly lost the last meeting. Bears win!
After last week, the Bears will be very confident and pull this out 17-7.
Minnesota's D is 24th in PPG
Minnesota's D is 26th in Pass YPG
Minnesota's D is 22nd in YPG
Minnesota's D is 20th in run YPG
If the Bears offense really is improved they should be able to score into the 20s and if the defense is serious they definitely have the ability to keep Minnesota under that.
All on the O to show us.

Y’all are truly delusional about this team. Vikings win.
I mean I personally predict that the vikings will win, but they're a pretty evenly matched team aren't they? Vikings have the better offense and the Bears have the better defense, right? Also, the Bears have beaten the vikings a lot over recent years and their D has had some of their best performances against the Kirk Cousins led Vikings, right?
I’m rooting for this Bears team to lose. I don’t care If I lose my fan card, I want Ted Phillips to be GONE. Gimmie that over a one and done playoff team.
Houston game was a fluke. Bears lose 30-10.
If Jaylon doesn't play Jefferson is going to torch this secondary.
Bears have something to play for, so they will blow it because Bears. But I can't pick it that way.

Very unsure.
But winning 2 more, getting all playoff fevery, then getting eliminated on the last week, setting up a not super clear offseason decisions, sounds by far the most Bearsy.

I've had no pulse on this team because I don't think they've known who they are all season.
Until now, perhaps.
Run the ball, boots and nakeds off it and sprinkle in some timely deep shots off play action.
I think this is more of a slugfest than an areal show, but the Bears stay alive in the hunt for a playoff berth:

I'm picking against us because the few times I have done so we've actually won! I'll be happy to be wrong again...

I don't believe the defense can stop the Vikings run game without over committing to it, which then opens up Thielen and Jefferson. I expect a lot of what we've been so frustrated by in recent weeks from Chuck, a soft zone with a limited pass rush designed more to slow down the run than to attack the QB. If Cousins stays patient, he'll carve it up with ease.
Vikes D has really fallen off a cliff in recent weeks, so I expect we'll have some success on offense, but not enough to overcome a high powered Vikings attack.

Me of little faith, just does not have the confidence in this inconsistent team yet. I give them credit for kicking a weaker team's ass last week. The Vikes, while not top shelf, are not the Texans. Better run game, better receivers, better D, spells trouble.
I believe there is a let down, because, Bears. Cousins keeps it close for the Bears with his inconsistent play, but Cook has a nice game.

I rarely get my way. I want one of those top 5 QBs. So naturally, it won't happen.

Bears offense continues its incredibly slow evolution in to an actual NFL offense. The defense reminds the world why Kirk Cousins cannot be trusted.

The Vikings defense is still terrible. So the question is...which Bears offense do we get? Which play caller do we get? One thing is for sure, the Vikings offense will be better than the Texans.
I actually see a fairly high scoring game. With the Bears coming up short and effectively ending their bid for the post season, as well as sealing the fate of the entire front office.

I can’t decide between this game or the Green Bay game being the game where Santos misses a field goal to win.. maybe both. IDK....
We'll find a way to lose. IMO

For some reason we usually play well against the Vikings, so I'll hang my hat on that. Bears continue with their new-found (?) identity and control the ball with long drives ending in points. Dalvin Cook is bottled up and Cousins is rattled by pressure leading to turnovers.

Vikings win becuase the Bears still aren't very good. The only question is does the effort stay high from the D. If so, Vikes 20, Bears 17. If not, Vikes 30, Bears 21
Both teams have looked good on offense lately (Vikings FG kicking aside) but for years nobody can score in Bears-Vikings games. The Vikings defense is also improving a little recently and I think that'll give them the edge.

The last matchup a month ago featured a starting OL of Leno-Bars-Whitehair-Ifedi-Coward (probably worst assembly of the year) and Montgomery out on concussion protocol. Patterson was the feature back getting 12 carries for 30 yards and Pierce next at 3 carries for 9 yards. Foles chucked it 26 times total with 15 completions 1 INT and 2 sacks. He was replaced at the end by Bray.
I think the offense shows up Sunday and takes advantage of a weak Minny D. Will the Bears D show up?

After last week, I'm going to be optimistic. The Bears have averaged 30 points a game since Mitch returned and the defense finally looked more like their old selves last week after stinking up the joint the previous two games. With a playoff place still a possibility and coming off an excellent performance in all three phases, I'm hoping to see them carry some momentum into this one.

Some interesting stats about the Vikings defense I just dug up:
lineups.com has the Vikings defense ranked at #24 out of 32 teams and just ahead of the Texans who were ranked #25.
Vikes last 4 games after playing and beating us 19-13:
Gave up 31 points to Dallas (L)
Gave up 27 points to Carolina (W)
Gave up 24 points to Jacksonville (W-OT)
Gave up 26 points to Tampa Bay (L)
Strengths:
Defense is ranked #3 against rushing touchdowns AND
Defense is ranked #3 for overall % of redzone touchdowns.
Defense is ranked at #12 for interceptions
Defense ranked at #9 against overall pass completions but.....
Weaknesses:
Ranked #22 in yards allowed per game
Ranked only at #24 for sacks on QB
Ranked #24 in points allowed
Ranked #28 against 4th down attempts
Ranked #24 against passing touchdown attempts (just not in the redzone I guess)
Ranked #25 in overall passing yardage
Also, this is bad news for them too:
ERIC KENDRICKS
LB, MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Vikings LB Eric Kendricks (calf) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice.
Pro Football Focus' No. 6 linebacker among 173 qualifiers, Kendricks has yet to practice since being downgraded on Friday ahead of the team's Week 14 loss to Tampa Bay. It's a drastic absence from Minnesota's front-seven (assuming he's ruled out).
Vikings placed CB Kris Boyd on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
CB Mark Fields has been activated in a corresponding roster move. A starter the past six weeks, 2019 seventh-rounder Boyd made it only one snap in Week 14 against the Bucs. He will now miss the rest of the regular season. In terms of performance, Boyd has not cured what has ailed the Vikes' injury-ruined secondary.
I think this is going to be a good match up for us now that our offense is doing better, especially against struggling defenses.

Vikings win 27-24 on a last second FG (or maybe the FG is in overtime).
Cute! ^
This would be a big win. If the offense can continue to take strides and the Bears win this game it keeps the Bears in the playoff hunt. Yes it hurts our draft position but right now the Bears are "watchable" again and hey, you never know what this team could do if they hit the playoffs. We are not gonna get a top 5 draft pick no matter what happens now... even if we lose out the rest of the season. If the team does (finally) figure out the offense and we take another step at the Vikes I'm going to be a happy camper. Regardless, it is a game with some meaning now that the Bears offense is showing a flicker of life.
It's funny. I'm not worried about the Bears offense now. It's the defense that worries me. Go figure.

If the offense plays as they have been and the Defense plays well, they have a legit shot. I consider this game a crap shoot.
Minny desperately needs to win out in order to get that third Wild Card, which is Arizona's to lose. They'll give everything they got, so this will be a very tough game.
