Rigged League?

Explain...

I have a hard time fully believing there is large scale rigging of sports....but there is enough effery and money that makes it impossible to rule it out.

Human error... and instant replay explain some of that.

But I do agree it depends who/where you are, as far as which way refs lean.

There was a pretty bad missed strike 3 called as a ball in that game too if I remember right that would have ended what later became a big inning... or perhaps I'm thinking of a different Yankees game.

Here's another good example. Thanksgiving game in 2017 if I remember right. We were destroying Detroit (quickly up 3 TDs) and the game was quickly going to be unwatchable... and then suddenly a few bad calls let them back in. We still win the game, but it's now close. I suspect, more than anything, the NFL cares about ratings. What they don't want is people turning the game off, so a couple non-calls and a bad call or two and Detroit has some momentum and the game is no longer a blowout. 

Rigged is a strong word, but a few calls here or there are really easy ways to bias a game and make it possible... and yes, I'm pretty convinced the NFL wanted NO to win that game (probably in part why the distraction needed to be bounty-gate because the question should have been why weren't these obvious fouls not being called). We all saw the same non-calls. Unfortunately, the Vikings did everything in their power to let NO win that game too. If they play a clean game, it would have been hard for the officials to do a thing.

It’s a variety of things. They are aiding the team has to do their part and play well. Then they use timely calls. It don’t always work and only bigger games. Anyone can make playoffs but you can be sure your team better have a big draw to games and ratings if you want to win the big ones nowadays.

Our team tries our organization blue collar too. It’s not us it’s bigger than us. The older I get the more research I do and the more knowledge I gain on things. I love my Vikes and that’s it. Some don’t agree with me some do.

The thing is I gave why like any debate should no evidence is an argument. I want debates not arguments I have grown up and I need evidence not personal beliefs for a stance. I strongly believe in what I believe. The beauty of me is I approach things like Science. It leans to the side with better data. If you have better data and better proof I’m flexible. I’m not a stuck on a belief of stubborn.

I love reading and researching and all my strong beliefs come not out of thin air but researching and digging into things. Some call me wild I am not. I am as real as they come and tell it like it is not what the crowd wants it to be I lead not follow. If I was a follower I would be dead or in prison by now. Nah I don’t take words for it I look into things myself and only speak on things I feel strongly about
