Welcome back to EFF,which has been missing the past couple weeks because the opposing fans have been MIA.
On Sunday, the Vikings will be in Tampa to take on the Bucs,so let's take a look around the Buccaneer fan forums and see how they feel about the game.

While I found a few different forums, the above two were definitely the most active.
Here's what they're saying:
This is essentially an elimination match. If the Bucs win, we go up 2 games on Minnesota(and a tiebreaker)with 3 games left.
Lose, and we likely fall behind both Minnesota, Arizona(and possibly tied with San Fran) in the WC race.
How much do we want to break the no playoff streak? Time to really know, Win and you're in.

This is the Buccaneers we are talking about. The franchise is cursed. Brady will get covid 1 day before the game... the rest of our QBs will have been seen eating lunch with him so they will all be placed on quarantine. The NFL will deny the Buccaneer's request to allow Leftwich to play QB. The Buccaneers will try to run the triple wing offense and Bruce will have a coronary because he can't risk the biscuit.
After our brilliant plan for Hill against the Chiefs working so well, I fully expect our 200iq coaching staff to only play with 4 in the box vs Dalvin Cook, and then have surprised pikachu face when he has historic numbers in the first half.
I smell a statement Victory! Lets go, everyone here stop the doubt and jump on the ride!
Don't be scared, ultimately its Kurt Cousins and not Pat Mahomes throwing the rock. I think our offense will have a field day against that defense.

Justin Jefferson versus Jamal Dean(if he's healthy) will be what decides the game, imo. If Dean loses badly and has Jefferson everywhere open.. we're in for a long day. Thielen will be working on Carlton, so I have a little more faith in Davis than Dean.
Our run D is the best in the league.. We match up well against this team. Our weapons should have a huge day. And if they're missing one of their backers still.. we could have a huge day on the ground, as well.
My fear is that Jefferson goes off and we have no answer for it. This Vikings team is a decent squad, many had three NFC North teams in then playoffs. I honestly believe this test will be answered though.
This is a good matchup for this Bucs team since the Viking defensive front isn't very good where they should be a problem in pass protection, plus their secondary is very, very raw. Tough ask for a bunch of rookie CBs to cover AB, Evans, and Godwin when all should have a chip on their shoulder and rested coming off the bye.
The Bucs D up front has done really well vs these ZBS teams like the Vikings (Rams, 49ers, Packers) that are traditionally lighter along the Oline.
I have the utmost respect for Dalvin Cook as a runner, but I don't think he'll have much space to work with.

A really big game. The Bucs cannot dig themselves a hole early. Both Bowles and Leftwich cannot be out schemed. A good team does not lose a game at this time of year at home. No excuses, get it done.
This looked like an easier game a month ago.
Still looks pretty easy the Vikings barely beat the 1-11 Jags in overtime, honestly not worried about this game at all, and I'm usually worried about every game with this team.I predict a 45-20 victory.
Arians is 5-2 after a bye. I fully expect us to win but i would like to see less deep shots and more rushing with RoJo. Sunday is a big day for our coaching staff
Vikings are currently the #7 seed. If we can't beat them what's the point in making the playoffs regardless if we control our own destiny or not?

The Bucs still have the #1 rush defense (DVOA) in the NFL. Shutting down Dalvin Cook really hamstrings the Vikings and I think they're the type of team that will lean on the run even when it's not working.
Bucs siting at -6.5 and -300 on the Moneyline ..... this game makes me nervous and it’s still weird to see Tampa as such a heavy favorite
They should be able to beat the Vikings if they bring their A game. Stopping the Vikings comes down to making them one dimensional and putting pressure on Kirk. Jefferson and Thielen are very good but the left side of the Vikings line is not. Reiff has been having a renaissance year but I think JPP and Shaq can beat him. Their LG Dozier is not good

Defensively the Vikings are having a down year for them as they lost Hunter and have a lot of youth. The Bucs veteran WRs should be able to school these young corners. The Vikings also lack an elite pass rusher at the moment. Kendricks is their best defensive player.
I think the Bucs win this one.
