Also, being raped/molested is a jail sentence in and of itself. As someone who knows many victims ... yeah, it's sad. 

1. Your parents not being together and not having a dad are two massively different things but that's beside the point.

2. Man if you think a lack of a father in their life is the reason they don't respect women I don't really know what to say... I think you're confusing where the whole lack of respect for women and thinking they're entitled to something comes from, cause it sure isn't from their mothers.

Yeah because that's exactly what I said lol. First, not all rapes are the same. Having sex with a drunk girl at a party can now be considered "rape", and that's the kind of "rape" I'm talking about here. A girl having regrets after having drunken sex with some dude she normally wouldn't give the time of day too when she's sober is not on par with a sober woman being raped against her will. Or do you not recognize there being a difference? Do you think all rapes are the same? Some drunk guys life shouldn't be ruined because he had consensual sex with a girl who ended up having regrets. That's BS and it happens A LOT. If they want to make it a crime to have sex with a drunk woman, then they should make it a crime for women to be drunk. Screw it, time to implement sharia law. Get out the burka's. Men are just rape machines that can't control themselves. Hey speaking of an actual rape culture that's taboo to talk about ... well anyway. It appears everyone is a rape apologist when it comes to a certain 14th century death and rape cult where 1 in 1 women are actually raped.

The Duke Lacrosse team was found innocent after a trial, but their lives were still ruined because they were already found guilty in the court of public opinion before it even went to trial, and it's because of this torches and pitch forks mentality. Because of this believe the woman no matter what when it comes to rape nonsense. Women can be evil and vindictive too. Women can make poor decisions. A woman can have consensual sober sex with a guy and still accuse him of rape. So if women are capable of lying, and have been proven to do so often enough, then why should we just automatically assume they're telling the truth and not treat it like any other crime? Sounds like preferential treatment. I thought women wanted equality?

How bout the fun little story Rolling Stone published about an alleged rape at the University of Virginia? BEFORE it went to trial and was found out to be false? That didn't ruin any lives or anything. No witch hunt to see here. Have you met any violent feminists lately? And this is the kind of crap that should piss women off because this is why people have to be skeptical. This takes away from actual rape victims.

Lol yeah exactly, there are always going to be "false or vindictive rape allegations". Exactly my point. You seem quite callous toward those few. It doesn't matter if it's just a few. That's why it's innocent until proven guilty. PROVEN being the operative word. And spare me the "deck is stacked against the female" nonsense lol. The deck is stacked against EVERY accuser when it comes to every reported crime. That's how the system works. It's the best system we have.

We can't have people running around accusing anyone of anything they want now can we? Yeah go ahead and imagine how fun such a system would be. They have such a system in some of those 3rd world areas and let me tell you, street justice delivered by an emotionally driven angry mob can get pretty ugly. How much investigating do you suppose those angry mobs do before they carry out the sentence? Do you think they even listened to the guys side of the story as he maybe begs for his life? That's a system where women and girls are automatically believed. Sure it's great if the accusations are true, but what about those few that aren't? Are you ok with that?

And since when are rape trials held by the college on campus? I didn't know universities had their own jurisdiction. Colleges are corrupt to the bone ofc, but what makes you think the fate of a rapist is up to the college? Last time I checked actual rapes were handled by the justice system. If the justice system rules them not guilty then why should the college turn around and punish them? Makes no sense. It's their business so they can do what they want to maintain their image I suppose, but they have no legal authority. They'll always do what's in their best interest. They're a business trying to make money after all. Do you suppose the U of M felt any pressure to take action after trial? Hmmm. The angry mob must be appeased lest they remain angry. I mean good grief, every time a racial slur is found on campus these days the angry mob forces someone to step down even if it's found out later it was a hoax. Good ol street justice, so vigilant in it's investigating and not emotionally driven at all lol. Always demanding immediate action. They don't have to face any consequences if it turns out they're wrong.

But let me flip that on you, what if the girl has the rich family and the guy she accuses is poor? He's just as likely to be found guilty even if he's innocent. Is that then fair in your mind, or is it not a possibility? You need to stop singling out rape. The rich have always benefited in the justice system when it comes to any kind of crime. That's a whole other argument, and that seems to be what this all boils down to. I tend to think all crimes need to be treated equally by the system, and you and the feminist group there seem to think rape is special. You guys want to get out the pitchforks and torches and devolve into the 3rd world when it comes to rape accusations, and I want to hear both sides of the story.

But I'm calling BS when it comes to money beating emotion as far as jury goes. A crying woman or girl is always going to have the advantage regardless of who has the best lawyer. It's not too hard to paint men as monsters. Especially if they're rich and seem privileged.

And colleges expelled students and fraternities for bad behavior? You mean they didn't expel them for no good reason? I'm shocked. I presume these colleges had some sort of evidence for this "bad behavior" didn't they? And again, colleges are businesses. Their image is everything so I wouldn't expect them to be blind like I do the justice system. It's their right to expel anyone for any reason at any time, even if they just feel like it. Aren't you thankful the justice system can't just imprison you for no reason? Aren't you thankful we have due process? What if some random girl picks you out of a lineup and accuses you of rape someday? Maybe she was actually raped but mistook you to be the rapist. She was drunk and doesn't remember it too well. Should we just believe her?

We're talking about rape here so I could give 2 licks what a college thinks. I only care what the justice system thinks. If everyone on campus is convinced some kid raped some girl, even if he didn't, the college would have no choice but to expel the kid. Mob mentality kind of has that affect on businesses. It doesn't when it comes to the justice system. The justice system isn't a business. But that's the only thing a college can do, expel someone. A college can't sentence anyone to prison, thankfully.

And nowhere did I condone date rape. Again I'm only talking about the justice system we have and it's process. But when date rape comes down to his word against hers and the evidence isn't clear, what do you think should happen? What's fair? Do we always just give women the benefit of the doubt in your world?
