Cowboys fans are always fun, aren't they? Well, maybe they aren't quite as "fun" this season with the way things are going, but who knows? Let's dive in and see what they have to say about Sunday's matchup against our Vikes!

What They're Saying...
Yeeeeeah, they're definitely not cocky in Dallas anymore! They're mostly interested in tanking, seeing more of GG, and hating on Dalton (unless he's helping them lose). Not a whole lot of talk about wanting to win. Thoughts on their thoughts? Dig the tanking idea, tankers?
As always,

It’s tank time, baby.
We just need the Jets to beat the Chargers.

One of the things to accomplish in the rest of the year is to make Dalton look like a starting quality QB to bump up his comp pick value. A 3rd or 4th is totally doable.
CORRECTION: I used to think this. Forgot that every extra win hurts us more in draft value than any comp pick we might get out of Dalton. Sorry, Andy. I'd rather have you on the bench and give the snaps to Gilbert. That develops him for next year, which we own.

Good point on us owning next year.
Next year already feels different.

Vikings open as 8.5 favorites. Take the Vikings give the points with Dalton starting it's a lock
Dalton seems to be one of those QBs who always looks good when there's nobody trying to break him in half. And then turns into a completely different guy come game time and the real bullets are flying.
Is that who we play next? Exciting. Dalvin Cook gonna run wild like some sort of hulkamaniac.
Something tells me we're winning this game .........and it won't be close. Get ready for the new Andy Dalton ............lol
..dont feel good about this. They will blitz Red Barron and scare him into fumbles, drops, ints...etc. We have better chance with GG. GG has heart and gusto.
I hope we get blown out. The more embarrassment, the better. The lower the pick, the better. I predict the Jets win against the Chargers, and then it’s Tank time!!
I wish stats prescott didn't get hurt, he could have had a bunch of good stats with losses. oh well, no difference except no big stats.
Gilbert played as good as Dak would have played against the Steelers; if you let him take a couple more games to see if the Steelers game was a fluke (or not), it might end up saving you $40M worth of cap space and then you could go draft you either Fields or Lawrence to backup Gilbert next year while you rebuild the o-line and defense. It makes too much sense for Jerry to do this but I’m giving GG 2-3 more games.
Dallas Vs Minnesota......
Minny won’t know what hit them!!!! 5 yard passes to Gallup all day long baby!!!!!!!!!!
If Dalton is still struggling to do anything with the offense against the Vikings will Mike McCarthy decide to bench him for Garrett Gilbert or are they just in full tank mode now?
Gilbert is more fun to watch than Dalton, in my opinion. But I do think Dalton should start. If Gilbert put up better numbers vs. Pittsburgh and pulled off a win I would think different. This spot is for Dalton to lose.
Vikings 34-7
I am gonna say Viqueens by 10 or less.
We're well rested and Minny ain't all that. A lot of winnable games left, starting with this one.
Vikings - 91
Cowboys - 2
Cowboys will get a safety after a Vikings D lineman breaks Jim Marshall's record yardage for fumbles returned the wrong way.

They will run all over us. We won't be able to stop Dalvin Cook. I'm calling that right now.
Dalton couldn't read a blitz to save his life against the Skins or Arizona. Not sure if that has always been a problem for him. But it was painful. If everything else was normal Dalton would probably be the best QB on our roster outside Dak. But the way things are right now I have zero faith. He was beyond awful in those games. Like 60 QB rating and 30 QB rating.
I don't know how real Gilbert is, but I think it would be smart to find out.
Don't get sucked in again based on another almost performance vs a Pittsburgh team that historically plays down to bad road opponents and still beats them.
This is the trap we always let ourselves fall into.
Dallas IS their record. Dallas fans and more importantly the team must IGNORE THE HYPE and OWN IT.
Cincy and the rest of the NFC East are more our speed, Minnesota is a notch above
Dallas brings a pathetic starting QB, an OL full of backups, a RB with too much tread on his tires struggling with confidence, a world-class WR corps with no one to throw them the football, and a tatters of a defense that was not built right to begin with.
Minnesota is going to hammer Dalvin Cook.
Dallas doesn't have the defense Chicago does, but they have an equally pathetic offense.
I thought Dallas had a shot here, but I realized I was fooling myself.

The defense has improved quite a bit the last 2 weeks, I think that will be enough to make it somewhat competitive but ultimately you aren't going to win many games with a backup QB, 2-3 backup OL, and an above average at absolute best defense.
The miracle special teams performance vs Pittsburgh was just that, a miracle.
This ramshackle defense just can't hang with an offense this bad no matter how scrappy they might appear. Don't forget Diggs is done for the year.

I love that people are still viewing Dalton as a savior. I think he's going to deliver us the number 3 pick until he gets benched.
All in on the tank.
Vikings win 24-10.

I think we have the right players with the right mindset to lose handily.
I love that we kept it competitive with the Steelers. No one is going to overlook us now, and ensures that we get continually rocked by decent teams.
This one will get ugly, I think.
This one will get ugly, I think.
I have concerns that the team is starting to buy into what the coaching staff has been preaching and there is enough talent coupled with a poor enough remaining schedule in place to make some things happen.
My desire to lose now is almost as strong as my desire to win on a normal season.
The difference between getting the #2 pick and the #5 pick is franchise altering. Our boys really need to do this (and have the Jags step up!)
