This is gonna be a crap fest. Not looking forward to watching Falcons football for the first time in probably 13 years.
Will Arthur Blank's speech about no player being safe light a fire in Matt Ryan and Julio Jones? Will the Falcons rally behind Raheem Morris or do you expect more of the same?
Remains to be seen. I don't look for wholesale changes but hope the players play harder and get and stay focused.
Actually, I think we get a "W" in Minny! Heck, they've only won ONE game. So I think we see some kind of rebound and focus, after what's happened....pretty sure other jobs are on the line!
Probably we pull out a win and give everyone false hope with the new regime before losing every other game this year. Having one defensive playcaller may help some things, but with Koetter still as OC our problems there won't be resolved and our defense just doesn't have the healthy players right now.
Who knows. Wouldn’t surprise me to see us get a win. What will surprise me is if we don’t see a heavy dose of running the ball. If Raheem is smart we go with eating clock and running the ball. Our defense needs to be on the field as least as possible.
Hey! That's our plan!
I don't want to hear about moral victories.... We better tank for Trevor and start the rebuild immediately!!!
If we go 8-8 again and pick 16th, I'd be pissed!

Execution will improve, especially from last game. But then we'll just go back to losing 39-40 instead of 20-40. Our only hope honestly is that Neal returns to pre-injury form, our young corners settle in a bit more, and Allen becomes the weak link of our secondary again like prior years instead of the strong link.
That's a lot that needs to happen, though.

An *** whooping. Their OL and run game destroy our DL. Which indicates we need to get tougher in the trenches with our next regime.
The Vikings usually have this team's number. I expect no different Sunday.
Yeah but those are usually good Viking teams.
This is not a good Vikings team.
This is not a good Vikings team.
Vikings looked like a really good 1 win team. We've looked like a good winless team in 2/5 games then blew it. I'd give the edge to the Vikings.
Kirk Cousins is only behind Wentz in interceptions thrown for the league last time I checked so maybe our secondary will actually catch one from him this week.
We have caught 2 interceptions this year and should have at least 10 with as many passes that have been thrown at us by opposing QB's.

Both defenses are pretty garbage right now so I’d expect a shoot out. Who wins? Probably the Vikings, but on paper we have more fire power. If Julio and Ridley are both healthy and play the entire game we should actually win, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
I expect more of the same. We will feel the Purple Pain.
MIN seems to have ATLs number when the teams are both good, why should that change when they both suck?
I expect Kirk Cousins to look like the second coming of Dan Marino, and we crawl up in a fetal position.
Afterwards, I expect to hear some "Rah, Rah, Rah" stuff from RM like, "We just gotta get better. We gotta get tougher, and win the war of wills!" He's as big of a dope as DQ.

A few good laughs while shaking my head from side to side. It is always a joy to catch a Falcons game. Now that there is zero reason to get fired up about the outcome, I can view it as it is truly meant to be viewed, strictly entertainment.
This is a Gurley/Hill/OL/Front 7 week. Vikings are attackable on the ground and if Morris is going to back up his press conference promise to "impose our will on our opponent on both sides of the ball," he will ground and pound. Just like last week, this is a ground attack opponent. Once that gets going, it should be easy play-action picking for Ryan and whoever plays receiver.
On the defensive side, the team actually looked much better last week outside of the second quarter. However, tackling was poor. There were too many plays where Davis and short pass catchers got multiple yards after contact on first and second down, setting up a 3rd and 2 where a 3rd and 7 should have been expected.
Pound the rock on offense, shore up the tackling. Which ever team runs the best will be in position to win off of play-action late. The Falcons in week 6 should have a game plan that looks like what the Seahawks have done for the last 5 years (not so far in 2020).
This is a straight forward opponent. Even for our non-adaptable coaching staff, the Vikings are as clear of an opponent as you can ever hope to game plan for. They want to run first, and pass once you start creeping forward. They will do a bulk of their work with 4 sets of hands (RB1, Thieland, JJJ, and one of the TEs).
No excuses type of week here. "There is the opponent Raheem. Are you good enough?"

I think it will be a very high score both ways.
I think it comes down to secondary for both teams.
Both teams have pretty clutch PK so field goals within range are almost a given.
I think D wins this game, you know there are some guys that should be fighting for their play time.
Rise Up! It's a W

To people saying they wont be surprised if the Falcons win...have yall watched any Falcon games this year?
What do I expect for us to get behind multiple 3 in outs by thee offense.Pass happy once we are behind.Todd Gurley after a good start to the year tweedling his thumbs on the sideline.
Matt Ryan getting hit multiple times because he’s an easy target.
Grady Jarrett being a Lone Ranger like he has been the last 3 years upfront.
The secondary leaking like a sieve.

A Loss, Raheem Morris wont change that. Matt Ryan regressing, Julio's body, Gurley's knee, the defense. Raheem Morris can bring the rah rah but this team is nursing home bound at this point
