Going Undercover to get Rid of Cousins

Sunday brought a lot of intrigue around the NFL surrounding the QB position and as I saw QBs benched, hurt, and just play awful, it occurred to me that maybe a market for a starting QB who is never hurt, only plays awful when the game really matters, and who has passed up Aaron Rodgers somehow, might exist out there. To figure out if that market exists, I disguised myself as someone called Rick S., and set out to different teams message boards that should be desperate for a QB. Here is how it turned out.
San Francisco 49ers
With Jimmy G. getting benched, something that hasn't happened to Cousins since he was benched for Colt McCoy in 2014(who then proceeded to win the game Cousins had been busy trying to lose), and Cousins connection with Shannahan, I thought for certain that fanbase would be all over trading for Cousins. I was wrong.

Seems somewhat open to the idea...
A bit unrealistic, but I would choose Brady over Cousins too. Maybe if he were off the table?
Crap.
Um no. You can give us 2 1sts and Dalvin Cook for Jimmy G and Tevin Coleman though!
Double crap.
So much for that idea. At this point I figured that maybe I was being too greedy with that 2nd round pick, and went into the next team's forum with a better offer.
New York Jets

The responses:
Doh! I agree with that first part, but upset to read the second.
Ahhhh. Who says New Yorkers are rude?
Nuts.
Double nuts. Again I was thinking I might have been too high with a 3rd round pick, so again I went on to the next team with a lower asking price.
Washington Football Team
No team is more familiar with Cousins than the Washington team, and no team has a worse QB situation than the Washington team. Surely they would be interested in a relatively cheap starting QB (in 2021).
The Responses:
This isn't starting out well...
Barking up the wrong tree here.
I don't think most fans here miss Cousins.I can't see how that is possible.
Whoops, a sever miscalculation on my part here.
This guy is an idiot, and I told him so.
Dang.
This was followed by someone posting a gif that I don't feel comfortable sharing here that indicated a less than favorable view of any trade for Cousins, and finally some hope:
That isn't a no!
Overall they were mostly negative responses, but there was one indecisive poster who seemed somewhat open to the possibility. Hope lives on!

How would you guys feel about giving up a 2nd and Jimmy G. for Kirk Cousins?
Shanahan loves Cousins, Vikings fans hate him, how would 9er fans feel about that kind of trade? If a 2nd is too high, I am willing to negotiate. Just gauging 9er fan interest.

Nope, we need picks.
NO I WANT TOM BRADY. HE IS A LEGEND
We hate Cousins too, sorry

Hey guys!
I know you were super interested in Cousins a few years back, and well, he hasn't worked out great here in MN. Just wondering what the interest would be among Jets fans for a QB who generally puts up solid numbers, will keep your team at least around .500 and would only cost you a 3rd and some cap.
If that 3rd is too high, let me know and we can negotiate.

Vikings have a much better surrounding cast and Kirk isn't getting it done there - no way he's much of an improvement here.
I'm thankful he didn't take the Jets deal a few years back and want him less now.

Get outta here......i say this with love
Lol pass you can keep him!!! I think many weren't happy with what he did when it happened. However now we are happy we didn't sign him.
I didn't want him then, I want him less now

Hey Guys!
I see you are having a QB problem over there, and the Vikings just happen to have a QB who you are super familiar with who we might be looking to unload. He would be a perfect fit to groom a young Lawrence or Fields, and his cap hit would be a measly 21 million next year.
Any fan interest in a trade for a Cousins? How about spending another 4th on a guy with a proven track record of putting up good numbers?

Been there. Done that. No thanks.

Yes we are super familiar with him. That’s why we decline your offer.
Might want to worry about Zimmer first. He lost that game last night on that bonehead 4th down call.

I'm glad we got Kendall Fuller back. Kurt, I dunno.
