I really enjoy the conversations with folks who have been both critical and supportive of the Vikings. I like seeing folks supportive in one aspect and then critical in another.
I am wondering what everyone thinks of the folks who are always critical or the folks are always over supportive of the Vikings? Are they just trying to stir the pot, are they real Vikings fans, etc?
The criticism stems from the differences between my own ideas of how I think the team could improve, and the actual things the team does to try and improve. My ideas are clearly better.
Meanwhile, the crowd that's always supportive of what the Vikings do, must not have any ideas of their own, or they think the team has better ideas.
At the end of the day, I think people lose site in the purpose of a fan message board. What would be the point if we all agreed with everything the Vikings did? That sounds like an incredibly boring place. I think we all want the same thing, we just disagree about how to get there. Some of you apparently want to take the scenic route and smell all the roses along the way, and some of us want to take the expressway and break a few laws.
