Mahomes has come out publicly and said he doesn't want to kill the team with his contract. I'm sure he will get paid well but he knows he needs others to make a team roll.

Where in Texas do you live if you don't mine me asking? All is true but I do have concerns about Watson, like you said due to management. DeAndre Hopkins bailed him out a lot will be interesting to see how he does without Nuk!

It's the nature of the game man. Any decent QB that gets a new contract is going to be the highest paid player and so on. Duh. It doesn't matter if we think he doesn't deserve it.

Another thing people should look at is Drew Brees. I would be curious to see where he was at coming over from SD in the same amount of years as Cousins. It is easy to say Cousins doesn't compare to Brees but did we know at that time Brees would turn it around like this? His record is 49-65 against winning teams by the way. Cousins did get over a hump so to speak this year played well and won a playoff game. I have some doubts but not going to completely write him off totally yet. These next 3 yrs or so will be telling.
