Yeah weird how he threw for nearly 4k yards and 20 TD's though. That could have been higher if our damn coaches weren't so stubborn about pounding the ball in the RZ, and on the goal line. Sammy will be a 4000 30 TD guy behind a better oline and a smarter OC. Teddy could average 4000 and 30 TD's too ... if we counted every 2 years xD.
But you know how we always have to hold our breath every time Peterson carries the ball because he might fumble? Well if Teddy comes back we're going to have to hold our breath every time he drops back or scrambles, hoping we don't see one of his legs bend in a direction legs aren't supposed to bend. That's our future with Teddy. I mean he's going to have to wear leg braces all the time like RG3.2. The Gump nickname is more fitting than we realized lol. Maybe when he scrambles he'll run right out of those braces. Run Teddy run.
And don't you mock 2 sleeves. He certainly doesn't lack confidence in his throwing ability. He's a bit skittish in the pocket, but the kid can sling the ball just fine. And despite being more skittish he still took 7 fewer sacks than Theodore for 130 less yards, all with 100 more drop backs. Plus how many wide open receivers did you see him miss this year? Horribly? At least show him a little love for knocking your boy Brees out of the record books haha. Face it, Sammy was better in every category than young Tedrick. He even had a longer run from scrimmage .
Do you want to win football games or do you just want to win popularity contests? Erin is a world class douche with permanent b*tch face, but that prick wins football games. I want a QB like that. One who pisses everyone off. Opposing fans look at Teddy and go, awwww isn't he adorable. We look at Erin and wish the stadium scoreboard would fall on him. That tells you everything you need to know.
Bradford also took 7 less sacks for 30 less yards but then got outgained on the ground by 140 yards.
Idk Bradford has blown his ACL out been injury prone and has less pocket awareness so why would we be more worried about Teddy taking a hit?
You can talk about Bradford needing a better OC all you want but go check out his career numbers. This is who he is. Dude had a better OL and OC last year and guess what? He threw wfor 3700 yards 19 TDs and 14 INTs. So we're supposed to say a guy who was putting up the same numbers in year 6 as a dude in year 2 is so much better? A guy with no pocket awareness who lives off of throwing the checkdown if his first read isn't there?
You talk about winning games well guess what Bradford is doing less of that. Even as a rookie Teddy went 6-7, yet Bradford on a better team takes us to... 7-8?
The math isn't adding up here
