Why would they draft him high in the third if he wasnt supposed to be insurance on Flynn? Lol wtf?
It doesnt matter if they knew how good he would be or not, regardless of the reasoning they still acquired him, and so thusly, anything he does is a reflection of that acquisition. Not to mention, it's not unfeasible that they did identify him as a HOF talent, and simply believed he would be available in the third.
Once again, you continue to reiterate that anyone drafted past number one overall doesnt count towards a FOs resume lol. That's incredibly silly considering getting the number one overall pick is the cheapest lamest way to acquire any top talent.
Then the Vikings are actually one of the best drafting teams by this standard. Thank you
Probably the best at WR
Probably the best at DE
Probably the best at S
Probably the best at RB
We dont have the best WR, nor DE, nor RB, and even if we did, which we dont, Spielmans tenure is still mediocre, with too few playoff appearances, playoff wins, division titles, and no Lombardis.
By no standard are we even remotely in the conversation for best at drafting. None.
Btw, why are Spielmans picks not considered 'luck' to you? Because they arent QBs?
