It doesnt matter if they knew how good he would be or not, regardless of the reasoning they still acquired him, and so thusly, anything he does is a reflection of that acquisition. Once again, you continue to reiterate that anyone drafted past number one overall doesnt count towards a FOs resume lol. That's incredibly silly considering getting the number one overall pick is the cheapest lamest way to acquire any top talent.

We dont have the best WR, nor DE, nor RB, and even if we did, which we dont, Spielmans tenure is still mediocre, with too few playoff appearances, playoff wins, division titles, and no Lombardis.

By no standard are we even remotely in the conversation for best at drafting. None.

Btw, why are Spielmans picks not considered 'luck' to you? Because they arent QBs?

And then take an insurance pick just in the event the guy you signed doesnt work, like a good gm who doesnt put all his hope on one player. Then watch that insurance pick be a HOFer. That's called great GM'ing.

Spielman could have done this by doing as I suggested and drafting Lamar Jackson despite signing Cousins, we would be set with one of the hottest young QBs in football, and probably auction off Kirk to the highest bidder for a bundle of picks. Sounds nice doesnt it?

But unfortunately, Spielman didnt do that. Because he isnt a great GM, which is why his results are so uninspiring and devoid of postseason success and Lombardis.

Thanks for making the argument for me that the draft valuezzzzzzz aka draft buildzzzzzzz bros are full of sh*t..... it comes down to the GM having a good plan in place and filling it with players and coaches who FIT that plan.....

Great, I'm glad your finally being consistent with your reasoning, but you seem to have just went back on your whole point that Spielman is a good GM, instead attributing all of his picks to luck.

Also, how do you know we didnt know some of those guys would be studs? What if we knew of a stud, but also knew he would probably be available later on? It would be dumb to take a guy earlier then we had to, right?

All drafting has luck. Ozzie Newsome was the best in part because, over time, he showed his system consistently delivered results. But even then there is an element of luck.
