The Rams apparently loved Van Jefferson as well, that's a great offense for him to go to, they probably got tired of how unreliable Cooks was and see Jefferson as a guy Goff can depend on and fits in more with Woods and Kupp. Good call on that one!
They already have Josh Reynolds, who's stepped up well whenever needed the past two years. I'd say Van Jefferson will need to upstage him first for the 3rd WR role.

I was surprised how high Jefferson went. I was surprised how far Mims fell. You mean Van Jefferson? And yes, Mims falling was unexpected, especially with so much hype surrounding him.
Antonio Gibson and Lynn Bowden both went way higher than I expected rnd3 pick 2 and rnd 3 pick 16.
I was surprised too, teams really wanted to get their hands on the gimmicky weapons who aren't likely going to work as legitimate NFL WRs.

What do you guys think, closing thoughts on the WR's in this draft? Surprises, team fits, slides? Justin Jefferson!
Outside of what you've mentioned, I think the Bills made 2 really good picks in Gabriel Davis (4th) and Isaiah Hodgins (6th), my 17th and 19th favorite WRs. I have a feeling that one of those guys is going to turn into an everyday starter. The Chargers getting K. J. Hill in the 7th was a great value, too.
With all the blue chip players off the table, I think Jefferson was the right pick at #22 - though I would have liked to trade up for Lamb or trade down for more picks and then move up later for another WR - but I don't think Jefferson is going to bust like Patterson or Treadwell. It intrigues me that Kubiak was pounding the table for him - I do wonder what the plan is. Clearly Kubiak knows we needed more WR talent to keep the passing game relevant, so while the offense will still be focused on getting Cook the ball, there was clearly a priority to upgrade the passing game.
Actually I think the biggest surprise is the Packers not drafting a single WR with such a deep class here. I know it's currently popular to dunk on Green Bay and I do hate them, but I'm willing to praise them when they make a good pick. Failing to come away with any of these guys is a massive failure, especially since it leaves their WR corps bare behind Adams and they don't have a proven TE on the roster either. People may joke about Zimmer forcing the offense to be run-first... but the Packers are crafting their team to focus on running the ball and have ensured Rodgers has nobody but Adams & Jones to throw to.
