For those who aren't aware, NFL.com is providing free GamePass through the end of May. I didn't subscribe last season, so there are some games that I didn't see. I fired it up last night and went straight to week one against the Falcons. For anybody feeling a bit down about the team (or anything really), I highly recommend doing the same. Barr and Kendricks were all over the field. Harris was the best defender on the field (two picks and a fumble recovery). Cook was amazing, easily the best player on the field. Our defense made Matt Ryan look like TJack. Rhodes' stats: 2 limp offs, one helmet throw, one on-camera hissy fit. Griff stats: one awful jump on third and three. Harry and Boyd looked good. Waynes and Mac (until injured) did not.
Note: the interface is a bit clunky. When I used to subscribe, I watched through the NFL app on an Xbox. The app still works, but I could find no way to access the free games. A web browser app on a smart TV worked great.
Seeing as how I'm a homer stuck over here on the sunny side of the street, I'll likely watch the other 9 wins and possibly the Bears game at the end where some of our developmental guys looked really good. I'll leave the six losses for the folks over there on the cloudy side of the street. I'm guessing they'll be able to find/recall even more things to b*tch about. Oh well, whatever makes us "happy."
