I think they meant 1994. In 1995 they came close, they all finished above .500 except for the Vikings who went 8-8. They also came close in 1993 when they all finished above .500 except the Lions who finished 7-9. Pretty good stretch for 4 teams in the same division. They all beat up on Tampa Bay who was in our division at the time, and went 7-17 in the division those 3 years (3-3 against the Vikings however) xD.

Actually now that I look at it, they're combining 2 seasons. In 1994 they all finished above .500 (and made the playoffs), but it was 1995 where they finished 1-4 in passing TD's.

And it's not like they were way above .500 or anything lol. Still some impressive passing TD totals for 1995, especially the Bears and Lions with 2 scrub QB's.

It hasn't happened since the NFL realigned to 4 team divisions in 2002, so I guess you need at least 1 team in the division for everyone else to beat up on lol.

1994, 1997, and 1998 are the only seasons in which 4 teams from the same division made the playoffs. Although this feat was only possible from 1990 to 2001. Now there are only 2 wildcard teams so it can't happen anymore, unless they expand the playoffs.

It's even more common to see 3 teams from the same division win 10+ games:

A last place team has never finished above .500. Here are the ones that have come close. All finished 8-8, and they're all from 4 team divisions.

1989 Bengals (lost season finale)
2002 Bills
2002 Chiefs (lost season finale)
2007 Eagles
2007 Texans
2008 Redskins (lost season finale)
2008 Saints (lost season finale)

On the other side of the coin, the 2010 Seahawks (7-9) and 2014 Panthers (7-8-1) are the only sub .500 teams to win the division or make the playoffs in a non strike shortened season. Both teams won their home wildcard game. In 1982 the Browns and Lions made the playoffs at 4-5, but both went 1-and-done.

Other teams with 8 or fewer wins that won divisions (since 1960).

1963 Patriots    7-6-1 (AFL)
1978 Vikings     8-7-1
1985 Browns      8-8
2008 Chargers    8-8
2011 Broncos     8-8
2013 Packers     8-7-1

And a handful of teams made the playoffs at 8-8 as wildcard teams.

The 1979 Rams (9-7), 2008 Cardinals (9-7), and 2011 Giants (9-7) are the worst teams to make it to a Super Bowl (all division winners), and the 2011 Giants are the worst to win it. Oddly enough, as bad as the Cardinals were, they had 2 home playoff games because the wildcard Eagles made it to the NFCCG lol.

The most impressive team to win a Super Bowl however was the 2005 wildcard Steelers (11-5). They beat the 11-5 Bengals, 14-2 Colts, and 13-3 Broncos all on the road in the playoffs before beating the 13-3 Seahawks in the Bowl. Beat them all (except the Colts 3) by 11+ too. An honorable mention goes to the 2007 wildcard Giants (10-6) who beat the 9-7 Bucs, 13-3 Cowboys, and 13-3 Packers all on the road in the playoffs before beating the 18-0 Patriots in the Super Bowl. They barely won all these playoff games however, and they were 7-1 on the road in the regular season, so I give the nod to the Steelers.

Lord help you when Minniman see this. You might want to get a head start on going into hiding.

Personally I like the black highlight on the horn, makes it pop a little more, and I like the black facemask, however it doesn't make much sense to use all the black on the helmet and then nowhere else on the uniform.

I created this mock up awhile back to show what I mean. Black outline around the shoulder stripe and around the numbers/name. The pants stripe would be outlined as well. It's subtle enough to not dominate the senses, but matches the helmet and overall uniform theme.

And I need a Grammar Nazi to clarify whether or not facemask is one word or 2. I'm seeing conflicting info around the world wide web, and I can never keep all these arbitrary rules straight. Anytime, sometime, but not every time. No rhyme or reason. No wonder kids need 14 years of english classes. It's to memorize all the crap that doesn't make sense.

Simply type @ and then their username (unless they've changed their username since joining, then you'd have to know their original username, but most people it's just the @ symbol and then the username you typically see).
