Really? Garbage time? In what games are your referring too? In every game they lost they were behind at half time. So I am going to assume that any second half passing numbers in those games was because he was trying to win the damn game. Or are those garbage time?

In games they won(or tied) they were leading at the half, tied in one game and behind in the other. So, these are the games when you can call garbage time stats. His stats for the second half of these 9 games was:

65/98 66.3%, 760 yards, 6 TD's 0 int.

Now, in the games they lost, his second half numbers look like this.

124/182 68.1% 1156 yards, 7 TD's and 5 interceptions.

So please explain which games he had garbage time stats.

Was he not trying to win the game in those first halves when we were constantly going 3 and out? He put up those numbers when teams went into prevent mode because the game was over.

Look, I don't think KC is the problem on this team, but I'm not sure his stats amount to much unless he can show it with consistency. I'm hoping improved OL play and offensive design that caters to his strengths will account for this. The offense should be able to score a lot more points than it did last year. They need to stay on the field longer too, as that, I think, will do more to benefit the defense than more personnel.

Grant won 3 different championships. 1 NBA with the Lakers, 4 Grey Cups and 1 NFL. No matter what anyone says, the Vikings first Super Bowl was not the NFL Championship game. You had to win the NFL Championship to get to the Super Bowl.
