My feeling is that this is a major victory for The Continuity Crowd. I'm ambivalent about it myself, because I don't see this team going any farther than it already has under Zimmer, our aging/declining defensive roster, and our offensive mindset. I think we will be competitive next year (but not for the SB), somewhere in the 8-8 to 10-6 range, we won't win two playoff games, and there will be extensions for Zimmer, Cousins and Kubiak if he's still alive. Like I said, a victory for the Continuity Crowd.
