Hunter - DPOY Good?

I honestly don't think any middle linebacker will ever win the award again.  Kuechly did in 2013, before that the last LB to win it was Urlacher.  Now, it's a d-lineman's award.  The last 5 years it's been a DL-granted 3 DL as Watt and Donald have sandwiched multiple wins around Khalil Mack.  
Kendricks just doesn't do anything sexy enough.  Zimmer doesn't let his LBs actually get sacks, so that's out,  Kendricks has .5, he has forced two fumbles but recovered none, he has no interceptions, he has 4 TFL, but that ranks behind Hunter, Griffen, Barr, Joseph, Johnson and Odenigbo.  I am not saying Kendricks isn't one of the best players on the defense this year, maybe even the best...but when the AP votes at the end of the year, it will be T.J. Watt, Shaquil Barrett, Chandler Jones, Danielle Hunter or Cameron Jordan with really long odds for anybody who plays another position-and that person would probably be Stephon Gilmore.
