just joined this group, and have to say that when i first read all the posts on getting rid of rick I was going to say be careful what you wish for. After Monday night I have to join the crowd wanting rick gone. Sometimes just the change is a good thing. Maybe we get someone that finds Oline guys by mistake.
Or maybe the new gm knows how to identify good olineman in the draft who fit the schemes the coaches have in place and a gm who understands that like the last 100 years, games are won usually in the trenches. To put a high value on both offensive and defensive lineman and draft offensive lineman in the first couple rounds instead of waiting until the mid to late rounds most years. And going back to Miami, Rick has never brought in a franchise qb his gm career. It is a position he just isn’t good at identifying the talent and then doing what he needs to get the guy. Both oline and qb are his 2 weakest areas and unfortunately 2 of the most important areas on the football field outside of dline (which is 1 of his strong suits).
Offensive lines are bad everywhere. Our line this year is a top ten unit.
Yeah, O-lines are that bad.
