Funkytown I think most appreciate this place for what it is. Not all will be happy all the time. I think and this is just me speaking outloud when the team sucks and it's widely know they do the Nick Olsen's and Dustin Baker's type cherry picked stats don't help the board to be a better community.
Yeah I know don't look at it if you don't like it. You reap what sow and if it's a bad year it's not going to bring positivity or people in. If some get warm and fuzzy by them that's their right also expect the ones that don't and when they litter the board it just doesn't help. You're going to get reversed results.
To me it just brings in more infighting. They're 99.9% of the time useless gaslighting material especially in a down year. Anything that has to do with Spielman Zimmer or Cousins directly or indirectly is going to make a full circle to involve them by the end. It would be no different then if they where 16-0 and you went out and brought in every negative stat you could find.
This is what happens when the majority isn't happy on any board. Not just here.
There has to be a point that people have had enough. How many rebuilds do you give before the happy bunch has had enough? What will it take? To me that's the biggest divide among us.
Let's "hypothetically"say Leslie Frazier is still the Vikings HC and the results are the exact same. Do you move on do you have issue? See I'm sorry but you have clouded judgment for Zimmer. You're not impartial. You like the man and you don't want to be realistic nor lay blame and see him go. He's above the team and you know that. I can tell even if you don't want to admit it. It's real and not hard to see the bias.
I have no hate or love for any Viking. I don't care about moral victories or personal achievements. All I want as a fan is a product that gives consistency and results not excuses and repeated failures. The overwhelming proof is there we have the latter in place. As a fan who wants to watch failure time after time. As a fan of a failure it doesn't help having people protect the people that are the issues of failure.
The end goal isn't set by me or you. It's set by the NFL and the end goal is the standard of which to gauge and judge. Fair or not that is the standard of which to base successes and failures. To the NFL the Vikings are failures and have been. To most fans they want success and people that obtain it.
