Wanting your team to dump guys who have proven they aren't good enough doesn't make you part of the dark side, it makes you right.
It doesn't take much to be considered "dark" amidst a fan base that wants to believe so badly they throw their common sense out the window.
Ownership is content to be good not great--they got the real e$tate work done which is what matters. They're Lucy with a football promising the fans who are all named Charlie Brown that this time it's really gonna happen we promise. Then Whoop! Come December Charlie is laying on his ass like a fool once more.
Funny though, this might be the first year in I don't know how long that one of the brothers Wilf hasn't given the "this is our championship year" interview to the Strib--the annual Lucy promise to Charlie. Or if they did I missed it.
Maybe they themselves woke up one morning to the painful truth about their allegedly dynamic duo of Rick and Mike. Maybe it's one of those rare smoke signals from TCO.
Or maybe the interview is coming this week and it's all purple duckies and bunnies in Vikingville--line up for that kick Charlie Brown, this year it's really gonna happen! ...lol.
... and neither is this Chris guy.
