Not saying he'll play bad, but he's very capable of handing us the game.
lol, an easy Broncos win? What are you, a Vikings fan from Purple Pain?
Another board spent a lot of time venting about Lock and Elway.
Well, what do ya think?!

What They're Saying:
Well it is the NFL and these are the best of the best so of course the Broncos have a shot at winning. Vic Fangio’s defense is in fact one of the best in fact he provided the blueprint to beat the Sean McVay offense last season which Bill Belichick took advantage of.
Of course Sean McVay, Kyle Shanahan, Gary Kubiak it’s all the same Mike Shanahan offense.
However I did hear Mike Zimmer say today that he has never had an offense like this in all his years of football!
He also said that he has never had a coach like Gary Kubiak in all his years of football. He basically said Gary Kubiak is a blessing and he’s grateful to have him.
I honestly believe that the NFC championship game is going to come down to the Minnesota Vikings versus San Francisco 49ers. Yeah I know a lot of people are high on New Orleans but I’m going with the Shanahan offense on this one and whoever is the Victorious party will go on to beat New England in Super Bowl 54!

They run an archaic offense like the archaic 49ers so I am not scared.
I think we match up well against them and expect the game to be decided late. Broncos +11, think i heard..?? I'd bet that. tease it down to +4 if you want to live dangerously.
We're not going to win **** this Sunday.
I'd love to see us start stringing together some wins. We already blew the tank, no chance at a top 3 pick so won't have any chance to get one of the top 2 QB's. Might as well get some wins and start building the winning mentality. Maybe we get a treat the last 4 games or something and get to see what Lock can do.
Really nothing to like about this matchup. Minnesota is easily a top 10 team, good on both sides of the ball. On the road. They'd really have to lay an egg for the Broncos to win.
Not saying he'll play bad, but he's very capable of handing us the game.
He's ranked #3 in QB rating and #10 in QBR. 18 TD's and 3 Int. Played well in a big game @ Dallas on Sunday. I think I'd bet on him over Brandon Allen.
turnovers.
maybe some cupcakes too, but definitely turnovers.

Vikings going to pull away in the second half. Denver O will struggle of course.
Sure, but then again he's (Cousins) due for a dud.
Yeah, QBs don't have their dud games against this team for some reason. Even Derek Carr and Mitch Trubisky looked competent and capable against us.
Trubisky had 120 passing yards 0 TD's and a 70 rating against us.
Carr and Rodgers are the only QB's that have had real success against us this season.

Maybe we can fool him into thinking we won those 3 games we lost at the end and that would mean we're an above .500 team, so he'd have to lose....
He does seem to shrink under pressure. I like this idea.
Maybe just show him Brandon Allen's weird hair.

I am expecting a loss, and not because I want a higher draft pick or anything, but because this is an overall superior team. Everyone who knows the game, including Vegas, are saying the same thing. That said, the Vikings have been known to lose a game or two a year to teams that they shouldn't under Zimmer. Last year, the hapless Bills went to Minny with a raw rookie in Josh Allen and beat them very soundly. The Bills had no business winning the game. J. Allen didn't even throw many passes that day, and most of his best plays were with his legs, and the defense getting TO's. Yes, I know this is a better team, and Kubiak will want to dial up a great game plan this week so probably the Broncos will lose.
While I will be ecstatic for a win, I am preparing myself for a loss as long as they don't embarrass themselves like a typical VJ road loss. But to answer OP, and in the small chance that they figure out a way to get a win which is possible obviously, I will be hitting the 15yr Redbreast Irish Wiskey all night.

I don’t think the Broncos will win the game. I think the defense will do their part, but the offense will not. Vikings win 24-16.
Classic trap/sandwich game for the vikes. Off of primetime, vs. losing record team, at home, before their bye week....Add in the fact that Fangio knows them well and this is a relatively easy Bronco win.
lol, an easy Broncos win? What are you, a Vikings fan from Purple Pain?
Broncos aren't supposed to win and are 10 point dogs. if anything there should be all the pressure on the Vikes.
Last year versus Fangio's Chicago defense, Kirk was 30/46 (65%) 262 yards 2 tds 2 int at Chicago. And 20/33 (60%) 132 yards 1 td 0 int at home.
No way we win. The 3 teams we beat are a combined 12 and 17.
Not sure if the tank is really dead yet. Currently we are 7th for next year right now. But we have NO games left against teams that have records worse than ours.
All the teams ahead of us ( in worse records) have at least a shot to win more games than us .
Bengals at 0-9 have Jets, Browns, and Dolphins left Unlikely that they won't be #1 or #2 but they could win those three
Redskins at 1-8 have the Jets and Giants ahead so they also are possible to tie us , but likely #2 pick at least.
Falcons at 2-7 have Bucs, Panthers (twice) , and Jags ahead. win two and they drop under us
Giants ( 2-7) have the Dolphins and Redskins left . win those and they get to 4-12
Dolphins (2-7) have Browns , Jets , Giants and Bengals. Win 2?
Jets ( 2-7) have the Redskins Bengals and Dolphins. (One of Dolphins and Jets at least will have one more loss for sure) Win 2
Broncos at 3-6 have the Lions and Chargers but if we tank, we tank end at 3-13
Browns at 3-6 have the Cardinals ahead. We need them to win one.
So, there is still a good possibility that if we truly tank we could get up to the third pick or even #2. Note: I am against tanking. Wins build teams more than
tanking. But it isn't impossible that we could end up with the third pick or higher.

They don’t have to tank. They can legit try to win games and lose. We’ve been seeing that for multiple years now.
