Can we please just stop talking about this guy? Every opportunity he’s been offered, be it workouts with Denver, Baltimore, Seattle or a chance to play in the AAF, to this, he’s consistently refused to show up and blamed everyone but himself.

He does not want to play, he agreed to this only to make a commercial. He will never play again, it would hurt his brand. He must stay a martyr, he has to stay “the discarded black man” to push his narrative, to keep his political stance alive and to continue his activism. He is the perpetual victim to the evil, racist corporate America represented by the NFL. It’s how he will continue to stay relevant, continue to get attention and keep his sponsors. The fact that people keep buying into this narrative is baffling. He has not played in 3 years now, and hasn’t played well in 6 years. Let the circus end

He is a pos racist, cop hater, military hater, and a has been (is he ever was a has in the first place). Its so effing tiring to see his name show up every few months.

He’s had 4 different opportunities to tryout for teams and the league, and he’s managed to show up to 0 of them.

You’re being swindled into believing he’s being blackballed by the league. He’s manufacturing this narrative. He’s had plenty of opportunities to earn a spot, like any other free agent. He is not entitled to anything

I think it's a mistake to think you can apply normal employment practices to the NFL.  They are an exempt monopoly so acting with collusion is very much a problem.  

I don't deny he comes with PR issues and I know some people don't like his stance or the way he expressed it, but they also can't work to collude either.  And there is really no other rational conclusion than they colluded to keep this guy out of the league, likely for sponsorship reasons.

Who said it has anything to do with political beliefs? No one wants cancer like him on their team, because he SUCKS as a Qb. Want me to type that slower so you can understand it? Do you really believe a team wouldnt want him as at least a backup if he had any talent at all?

He had opportunities with Baltimore, Seattle and Denver in the past and then his 4th opportunity was the tryout this week.

If he can prove collusion, and by whom, he can sue them. But as a business, each team can make a choice with a person and he made that choice really easy by being average at best, and a headache to go with it.
