Is Cook one of them?

I'm with you man. Hell Cook carries the run and the pass game for us. Cousins gotta have play action just to do good in the pass game. We just lost Diggs I'm not trying to be sorry. Don't understand people wanting to get rid of our best offensive weapon.

Barkley overrated to me. You don't think Cook is one of the most dynamic explosive talents in the league? Mattison good but Cook is all world maybe we was watching two diffrent Vikings games lol. Mattison doesn't put fear in the other teams like Dalvin who is faster and has better vision than Mattison. Mattison is more of a sledgehammer type grinder. Cook is a bye for 80 big difference.

And that's fine. As a fan I really enjoy watching Cook play. As a fan who wants a Super Bowl I hate seeing transactions that defy good sense, :)

Cook was in the MVP talk as a RB last year with your top QBs above. Thats pretty elite to me. I dont want him finishing the leader in rushing yrds. I want him first in yards from scrimmage. He was second in that last year in yrds per game.

But we both have our reasons and we won't agree so don't want to keep going down this rabbit hole as I enjoy your posts

Hey Lev! I respect your opinion and the durability is a issue. I just think he is very important to us right now and after losing Diggs I don't wanna lose another top talent right now. It's all love nothing wrong with a healthy debate now and then!

I wouldn't disagree at all that he's important. But you don't always have to extend every player you have that's important right now, :)

I don't see the future going well for Cook so any investment in that future better be team friendly. In the very near future and the present...he's a stud. An extension takes us down that dicier road though.

He tore his ACL beginning of rookie season. 14 games

We can pull statistics from everywhere. That's what this site has trained us to do to support our arguments.

I will go not statistical argument
1. We would have not made the playoffs last year with out him.
2. He is one of a handful of players who has absolute game changing ability
3. He was in the MVP talk all last year
4. He will be in the MVP talk again next year
5. Everyone, because we know more than the experts on value and cap space, wants him gone

No stats to support arguments, just real talk
