Why is this "Diggs to be traded" rumor so popular?

Actually, he already did talk to everyone. Please try to pay attention and keep up. 




And it should have stopped there. The frustrations and discussions should have stayed behind closed doors, and been dealt with internally. However, Diggs chose to be immature and selfish instead, and here we are. 

Make excuses for him all that you want, but he was wrong for this. And, again, his actions did NOTHING to help the team, so, he can quit with the dramatics, as can you. If the goal is to help the Vikings win games, the drama isn't the way to go. Talk to your bosses about your frustrations, offer ideas for improvement, and get back to work. Period. 

Again, you're making excuses for his immature response. Why? Because Diggs is bigger than the team to you? Because that's what it seems like.

When you didn't get your way at work, did you pout and stay home? How far did that get ya? When I have issues, I discuss them like a grown adult. I just ripped my boss a couple of weeks ago, to be honest; she didn't love it. I don't pout at home and expect positive changes. I'm not 12; neither is Diggs.

One minute you're giving him credit for raising hell with his bosses and demanding better, and the next you're suggesting he probably didn't even talk to them/they aren't worth talking to. ...okay? I guess the tantrum and pouting was your preferred response?

How about he acts like a grown up? Is that too much to ask? $40 million guaranteed isn't enough to do that? Not a $72 million contract? Quit acting like Diggs is some sort of victim here. He's not.

QBs shouldn't publicly apologize for missing a throw, and WRs are generally not leaders--this is all bad.

Diggs should be traded as soon as a decent offer comes through. Cousins, Rhodes, Rudolph are not worth the price tags as soon as the Vikes can get away from those contracts they should do that too.

Next off season trade the 3 1st Rounders for one of the rookie QBs and lets move on.

Not at all. But in this country people have a right to express themselves within the law, and managers have a right to fire them for it. You like the last part but not the first part.

Your boss might not be as insecure as Zimmer. Be glad.




Again: If he thought a mere talk would do the trick he would have done that first. So either he didn't think it would help because he knows Zimmer, or he tried it and it didn't work so he tried something else. Its not rocket science.



This whole paycheck thing is ridiculous. It doesnt matter whether someone makes 10 million or 10 thousand, both have the same rights to expression and both have the same risk for being cut/traded/fired.

And stop paying these people so much. Its one reason I won't go to a game, because I'm not going to pay hundreds of dollars to pay millionaires when I can barely make ends meet. If paying them less would make you less unhappy about this kind of behavior, stop contributing to their outrageous pay. If we all did that we would learn a very important fact: that people who object to his behavior would still object, regardless of the size of his paycheck.

If you don't like it trade him! That's perfectly within the team's rights. He's already been fined, so whats the problem?  I don't agree with his on-field behavior, but until he starts punching reporters, insulting random strangers or pushing women with his car I'm not too worried about him expressing his displeasure with the team's loser approach to football.
