Hey guys,

I'm excited to announce our newest affiliation: Packer Addicts

We completed our little NFCN fam! Boom!

Here is the link: gbpackeraddicts.proboards.com/

You'll also see the link/image in our left sidebar with our other affiliations. Just like with Chitown Bears and LionsRedZone, the link/image will be over there for easy access. They link to our board on their boards, as well.

Because of this, don't be surprised if we have more Bears, Lions, and, now, Packers fans stopping by from this point forward. It should go without saying, but our expectations are the same: we want good, in-depth discussions. There's nothing wrong with a little fun and some playful trash talking once in a while, BUT, we're going to be good to each other!

Most importantly, if you choose to check out the other boards, be sure to follow their board rules/expectations, as well. For the most part, we're more similar than we are different, but just be mindful of that. Represent us well!

ANYWAY, Packer Addicts is a NEW board, and, therefore, a small community. Lombardi is a good dude, though, and he's excited to be part of this with us. He even acknowledges that Rodgers can be whiny and some Packers fans are super obnoxious, so ... yeah, he's pretty cool! LOL He actually joined recently, so I'll let him introduce himself, and we can get this party started!

Also, everyone see the joke Reignman made about Lombardi. (it's in the shoutbox). *loling*

Anyway, please take a look at the other boards and consider joining. Maybe sometimes when our board is slow, you can pop in and chat with some other NFCN fans. We're just getting to know the Lions fans and Packers fans, but I know for certain that the Bears fans are a really awesome group! SO, give this whole thing a chance!

And for those few paranoid folks out there, you know who you are .... owners/admins can't see your passwords or read your PM's on any of these other boards lol, like they can on other non proboards message boards, like *cough* phpBB *cough*, so nobody going to come hack your account and read your spicy PM's if you visit them or any other team.

I wouldn't trust those shady characters over on the Lions board if you could. Oooooo buddy, I would not want anyone to see what I say about about everyone privately. That would not be pretty. Maintaining 2 faces and double standards is not easy, let me tell you.

I am Lombardi the Admin from gbpackeraddicts.proboards.com We are brand new to the forum world but most of my members are from other well known boards. We are a very open minded bunch... yes we know Rodgers can be a whiny little mommas boy and yes we have some obnoxious fans that make you want to scream.

As for me I was born and raised in Central WI except a year and a half when we lived in Waseca MN (Go Jays!) otherwise all Wisco. My brother and sister in law live in Burnsville MN and are both Mankato state grads. I have lived all over the country but currently move between the SE US (X lives there) and KC as thats my employers base.The rest of my extended family lives In Chicagoland... mostly Park Ridge/ Hoffman Estates and the Lincolnwood/Niles area.

Hope to stop in now and again and talk some hard core FB, we have an open door policy at our board so no worries about jumping in and busting our chops. We are excited to affiliated with all of you and look forward to the upcoming season.

I've only had to enter my email address (the one I used to sign up here) on the sign in page, and forum password, and it signs me in as Reignman every time. I have to go to my profile and set all that up again, but yeah I've never had to go through any rigorous registration process. And if you click "remember me" boom! You can just bounce back and forth.

Yeah Packcycle (aka vikecycle) will be thrilled with this announcement. He might become your most active member when he finds out. Heck you guys might even find yourself arguing with him about Rodgers and McCarthy. He has a crush on both of them. Not even a man crush, I think he's actually in love. Well it's more like battered wife syndrome I think, but it's difficult to tell sometimes.

I think that first time is "registering". Doesn't Chitown Bears have it set where they approve your account? I think the other three boards make it pretty painless, but I still think there is a small registration to start with, but it's mostly just putting in your information.

But, yes, you do have to set up your profile each time. But once that is done, it's easy to bounce around to each community and continue talking football.

I was actually a member of a Packers board back in the Ponder/Frazier days and they loved me over there lol. Or pitied me *skeptic*

. I needed to go somewhere to vent my frustrations, somewhere where people understood and I wouldn't just get called negative, cuz there were still too many Ponder and Frazier apologists on certain Vikings boards who couldn't see the writing on the wall xD. Yeah who's laughing now past stupid Vikings fans? Ain't nobody missing those 2 schmucks now are they?
