We've discussed overall expectations, but what about BOLD PREDICTIONS?!

NFC North: Bold predictions for each team in the division by Nick Farabaugh

Minnesota Vikings: Kirk Cousins is sacked less than 30 times this season

The newly revitalized Vikings offensive line has to come up big for this team to get back to the playoffs and make a deep run, and I think they will do it, largely to the benefit of Kirk Cousins. With Garrett Bradbury and Josh Kline coming in, this unit should be improved immediately. However, also moving Pat Elflein back to Guard, his more natural position, can only further help a unit that gave up over 40 sacks last season.

This should be a more strong-willed and technically sound unit, and most importantly, a more athletic unit too. Not only will they be able to protect Kirk Cousins, but they should open up lanes in the running game too. The wild card is if Elflein can truly make the full transition and be an NFL guard, but if he can, this unit is looking good and can improve heavily this year. Watch out for the Minnesota Vikings.

I say we have the team to go all the way to Miami! We just need a balanced offense and will ourselves to wins. Our defense is stout. Head coach is smart. Hopefully our OC won't call three straight pass plays(like he did the last reg season game we played) to start the game and we should be fine. Use Dalvin Cook like a horse. Get Beebe involved. Let's go!!

Kirk has 4500 yards and 35 tds.
Cook has a combined 1800 yards and stays healthy.
Both named starters in the Pro Bowl but they're going to be busy getting ready for the next weekend.

Works for me boss. Better be doing something come January or I got a not so bold prediction that this team will look much different in 2020.

6-10 ... the Cousins durability train finally makes a pit stop just before the bye and we lose our final 6 games with our ill prepared scrub of a backup QB (whoever that might be). We'll start 6-4 because Cook will miss at least 7 games with a paper cut, and the defense will get off to it's typical slow start because tricky Zim will try to cover WR's with long snappers the first 4 weeks. Bailey won't cost us a single game though. Now that's bold.

And I know what you're thinking ... b-b-but supreme wise one, this is BOLD predictions. Oh sweet younglings, did you see my Bailey prediction? Besides, this crowd isn't ready for what I really think will happen. You'll find out when I'm saying I told you so. Except I never told you, so I'll actually be saying, see I wanted to tell you but you couldn't handle it. Just trust me on this, I'm always right ... as if it even needed to be said.

Does it really matter how many 3-n-outs we call if we believe we're winners xD? And what's this "should be fine" bit? Doesn't sound like a championship mindset to me. I think with our wide receivers being that good, you should be able to run play/action and screen or checkdowns in space to the #3 receiver or a tight end to get some decent number of yards, plus a decent running game, we should have a top 10 offense (the top 5 will probably clubs that throw most of the time).
My prediction is 10 - 6 (because something will always go wrong for the Vikings).
