You know how bad Packer fans don't want the Vikings to have a championship? They are willing to give up 2 of theirs to say we don't have one. See, the Packers really should claim 15, not 13. Because you had to win the NFL championship to make it to the AFL-NFL championship. That's two different championships. Even says so on the first 4 trophies. Of course the best part is the video of Lombardi b*tching about have to play the Chiefs in another game claiming they already won the championship, why do they have to play another game.

Yeah that Packer fan in the other thread even said he'd rather it be 4 to 0 than 13 to 1 (or 15 to 1) lol. But hey, good for them, they took advantage of that 40 year head start they had over us, when the league had 12 or fewer teams prior to 1960.

Maybe so, it's still concerning that we can't close out games. A team that learns to close games is a team that maybe stops choking when the game is close. *thumb_up*

I mean I get trying to run out the clock or whatever, but wow can we at least do it like we're trying to actually win? It was almost like we were down 28-0. Falcons kept playing. I don't know if you were paying attention, but it was still an adventure with every Cousins dropback. Pat Elflein was horrific. There should be laws against what Grady Jarrett did to him time after time.

They ran the ball, they kept the clock moving. Would breaking a nice run have been nice? Probably not, because then Sean Mannion would have played and how would you have all handled that?

We did get a bit conservative but they didnt close the gap to 16 by playing better then us.

You guys are too focused on the score. If we only led by 14, and Quinn knew how to math, then this game goes to OT.

Or you know the win is sewn up so you have two priorities: No big plays (either in yardage or turnovers) and no injuries

Mission accomplished, I could give a damn about how many garbage points the Falcons scored. We handed them their ass, the game was over by early third quarter.

Yeah, the Falcons got 10 first downs, probably had the ball like 10 minutes...and came nowhere near threatening the Vikings. It was a prevent defense in its truest form.

Maybe we should have blitzed a few more times, or tried to jump some routes? It isn't has if Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Mohammed Sanu and Co. have any big play ability to capitalize on any mistakes.

Energy? Fight? I guess the Vikings used it all up getting up 28-0, and I am fine with that. You seem to be the only one who isn't. You're nitpicking to the extreme, and it isn't even a valid complaint.

I am not going to agree with PackCycle too often...but Atlanta didn't outplay the Vikings in the fourth quarter. They played right into Zimmer's plan.
