I don't know what you consider a bust, but 4 good years including a ROY campaign doesnt qualify. I also am not sure he is done in the league, didnt Baltimore just work him out?
4 good years?
I see 2 good years, a middling third season, and a injury-plagued 4th year. He's in all likelihood never going to make a 53 man roster again after teams saw how he played in Seattle. Maybe he gets on somebody's 90 man roster, but I don't believe anybody even worked him out in 2018.
Btw, you keep harping on him being 'overweight', but you are aware that was only alleged of him for the 2015 season, right? Dont you remember all that hooplah about him taking Tony Horton as his trainer?
The Seahawks' deal to Lacy would give him more money if he weighed in at certain weights at points in the season.
Source:
New Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy's contract includes monthly weight clauses.
Lacy gets $55,000 for every month he meets the team's target weight. It's 255 for May, 250 for June and August, and 245 for the season. It jibes with Pete Carroll's Tuesday assertion that the Seahawks want Lacy to play in the 240s. Even with Lacy currently in the 260s, they're perfectly reasonable goals.

Methinks they wouldn't do this if they weren't worried about him being overweight.
Oh, and 2015 wasn't the only year:
ESPN reports Eddie Lacy is back close to the "255 to 265 pounds" he played at last season [2016].
And this:
The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports free agent Eddie Lacy was "fined for not making weight over the last couple of seasons."
Per reporter Pete Dougherty, "it’s unclear how often or how much." As Dougherty points out, it clearly didn't work. Lacy lost weight to much fanfare last offseason [the aforementioned 2015], but Dougherty reports he gradually gained it back, and may have even been a few pounds up in January.
