It'll be interesting to see if Kirk Cousins and Adam Thielen can get back on the same page today. Thielen is coming off a 2 rec, 6 yard performance in Chicago, his lowest output since Dec 2015. On his podcast, Cousins admitted that after watching the film of the Bears game, he missed multiple opportunities to hit Thielen down field, and the stats support that. Cousins completed 58.8% of passes 15+ yards down field to Thielen in 2018, which is down to 37.5% on such throws this season.

It's also interesting to note that Cousins is targeting Thielen primarily on the right side of the field this season, per ESPN Stats and Info. Of his 22 targets to Thielen, 15 of them (68%) have gone to that side of the field. The Vikings are only completing 47 percent of those passes to the right side, largely because Cousins is taking deep shots to Thielen on that side of the field. All 6 of Cousins’ off-target passes when looking for Thielen have come when throwing to the right side.

It's also interesting he doesn't talk about Diggs in the same way. Because he's missing him all over the place, as well. Maybe McAfee and his crew are on to something. lol.
