I don't agree with Danchat that 3-4 QBs will be gone in the top 15 picks. There's too many other talented players to reach for QBs. Haskins and Murray IMO will be the only 2 QBs and the other two might be end of the 1st round selections for the 5th year option. Teams reach all the time and pass up on more talented players! Last year all the teams went goo-goo over the QB prospects and let guy like Derwin James and Tremaine Edmunds fall much farther than anticipated. I predict there will be at least one very good prospect that will "fall" and be available for the Vikings at #18.
Last year was perceived as a better QB class, and there were many teams in the top 10 that immediately needed a QB.
This year, the top two QBs are better then any of last years imo, but they are both being way way under projected for the absolute dumbest reasons. (Haskins playing just a year of college football and Murray being short).
Im just not seeing many teams in need of a QB in the top 10. Who? NYG is the most obvious answer but even they have a QB coming off a solid season. DEN maybe but they are in a similar boat, and they almost certainly arent interested in Murray as Elway hates that type of QB.
I can see there being 3 or 4 QBs taken by the time we pick too, namely after GB, MIA and WAS pick, but that is no guarantee and I dont forsee guys like Lock or Jones drawing tradeups. I could even seen Jones falling to the 2nd.
